If Audi could only do that in the U.S. they'd realize their dream of being the number one in luxury brand sales.

Yes, this is nothing new in the UK and they have also been steadily closing the gap to BMW, whose advantage in terms of volume was being propped up by the massive discounts they were offering up until the beginning of this year. This has now come back to bite them as it shattered residuals.
