X6 First Details Emerge On BMWs Next X6

The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV by German automaker BMW. The BMW X6 is the originator of the sports activity coupé (SAC), referencing its sloping rear roof design. It combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all-wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (styling featuring a sloping roof).

Not so sure about the side profile. Is the suspension raised on this vehicle, it looks like the body is riding to high on the wheels?

OK, now the tail light graphics is exactly like the one on X5, and not like the one on X4 Concept. I have to visit an optician urgently. :D My bad!

Stay tuned I have a new F16 X6 3.5i (assuming BMW follows F15 X5 engine program) in Sparkling Brown....real looker. Some of the publications sold images do not show the side body panels and therefore character lines very well,i.e sharply angled shots. The swirly camo is effective from straight ahead in hiding contours/surface changes......but not at steep angles ( Trade Secret ) :) I definitely see some little brother X4 Design Cue's in the 2nd Gen X6. I do have many angled shots I'll post up later.

I would say the Autozeitung render is very close to the real deal, isn´t it?

Shoulder line is totally off, as it does not show the broken part ala X4.

But that front end looks pretty accurate IMO, I suppose that is why SCOTT posts it.

The vehicle in those photos is the M-Sport version as you can see by the front bumper. Personally, I'm not too fond of the design of that front bumper, so still waiting to see the X6 with it's regular look.

As expected, the X6 has the same M-sport kit design.

Is BMW going soft on camo.....Major difference in "First Public Street" camo level on F16 X6 vs the F15 X5.....hood, grille, side air intakes are all visible on the new F16 X6 vs F15 X5. Does it matter/mean anything....This is the lowest level initial camo I've seen on a non Concept launched new BMW vehicle. I believe it portends a quick development cycle until launch/sale and fewer "Striptease" sessions...Time will tell...btw...You are seeing for the very first time in public the F16 X6 3.5i in Sparkling Brown.... Thanks. PalBay

From the camo level, it seems like it's already in FEP which means the launch date won't be too far away. My prediction is if the X4 will be in Geneva motor show on March 2014, then this maybe in Shanghai or New York auto show on April 2014.

Now i'm definitely sure it won't look good as the current one. This one looks like a bigger X4 and that is a complete failure if you ask me. Fvck!

Only panel the 4er and F30 has in common is the hood, so it seems this will be the case with the F16+F15, maybe.

From the pictures above shown it looks like the whole front won't change compared to the X5!? Is it correct??

Small twicks here and there, more pointy front lights, slighly wider kidneys, and a more current gen X6 like front bumper.

Overall I´d say the differences between the front end of the X5 and X6 are smaller with these new F15 and F16.
