Yeah, there were some romours about that. Eventhough he thought it was a fantastic car he still didn't like some aspect of the car such as the i-Drive and the design.

No no, no BMW spammer here, as a matter of fact I use to be a HUGE BMW fan, that was until I drove the E90, it handled like a knife, but the interior/exterior design was just very heavy on UGLY, and just in gerneral the brand has lost a lot of it's appeal to me. So I lost all my love for BMW after that, but I've always been an MB fan at heart. Nothing personal

And about that Clarkson buying an SLK 55.... The car is ok, but is that big guy gonna fit in it??? No really the inside is quite roomy of the SLK...
Good choise but clarkson could buy a better car, like the CLS. He aqually loves it, but he is doubting the quality of it...
