Cadillac Coupe Revealed In GM Patent Filing

I agree, but you are talking about the old ones. New Cadillacs will be different. Wait and see.
What makes you think that the new ones will be majorly improved to rival or beat the Germans? Unless Cadillac has hired alot of ex Audi/BMW or Mercedes interior designers I just don't believe they will come close. The Germans are improving too and at a faster rate than Cadillac is lately. Compare the interiors of the brand new 2019 CT4 to the not so new GLC, Q5 and new X3 and it looks totally outclassed.

That Cadillac interior is Nissan/Hyundai level, btw why the driver's has two side air vents?

John Galt be like --- "Respect my authoritah" and if that doesn't work; ------"Maaam, Kyle and Kenny and all the other kids are making fun of me" and "screw you guys..... home"

Well, first of all, XT4 is an old conception. Judge by the upcoming CT5. That will be the brand's new conception inside and out.
Secondly, the XT4's rival is the GLA, X1. But even here I don't see a dominance from the overhyped germans...

Won't make a difference. They can even take any Audi/BMW/Merc and stick a Cadillac emblem and grill on it and the sales will insta-crash. The problem is not the car, it is the brand. Besides a few pockets, no one is aspiring to be driving a Caddilac anymore. Short of a marketing miracle, it is dead brand. The sooner GM realizes it (like Ford did with their cars) and put a tombstone on it (maybe just keep the SUVs) and move on the better. Use the resources for next gen EVs or something.

The Germans have been dominating this sector for decades with their unrivalled engineering, build and luxury and Cadillac have never come close. With the current engineering and design teams and bean counters at GM they dont have the talent to compete.

Agreed. Cadillac still had catchet in the early-mid 2000's, but kept releasing lackluster products compared to competition. The orginal CTS was a hit, but it's successors were lacking. I don't know where the brand would be without the Escalade.

I do like me a second gen CTS-V (sedan or wagon) with a 6-speed though.

There are lots of fake news. This is not JDN's car. Just like the XT5 and CT6. I don't care what journalists say. GMA or GMI have no insiders anymore. I have my legit sources.

So you are the fake news source? I was quoting you:

Look for the XT4 to be revealed in April at the New York International Auto Show. It will be the first Cadillac product to be completely developed under the leadership of Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen.

:D I see, I'm not blind :)) I thought it was his car at that time, but then I had a conversation with one man, who works in their design studio. So I know a lot. U just have to wait and see the CT5. It wont take long.

These drawnings.... This is a pre-production sketch. 99 percent of real deal.
Btw, they won't clone the CT5 sedan's interior for this coupe. Like the germans do. It will get a different interior as well as the exterior, as u can see. It is their new conception. Sedans and coupes of the same class will be getting different exteriors/interiors.

In the U.S. the XT5 is doing well and their upcoming 7-seat crossover will likely sell just fine as well. Its their sedans that are sales poison.

OMG! John Galt is @realdonaldtrump!
Well, I don't respect Merkel :) This old *itch had connections with the Stasi(aka KGB), when she was young. She's from GDR. That's why this s*ut does almost everything that her lil rat friend putler wants.

So @John Galt have you driven any of the latest Cadillac models and then also the German rivals?

It's not only the usual German suspects that will provide the more compelling automobiles. Hyundai/KIA/Genesis will certainly be introducing some very interesting higher segment products in the not-too-distant future. JLR (in the SUV/SAC segment, at least) and Volvo will become increasingly significant players. Tesla has its´issues, but should they be resolved, it is not to be underestimated. Lexus as well as Mazda may surprise many.

Outside of North America, Cadillac will remain a non-entity.

... but then I had a conversation with one man, who works in their design studio. So I know a lot.

Careful there...

"knowing alot" can be the result of being invited to a selected audience pre-official presentation clinic or having actually visited a design studio/R&D department featuring prototypes. All else is most frequently not credible.
