M5 BMW M5 (F90) - Spy Pics & Info

The BMW M5 is a high-performance variant of the BMW 5 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. It is considered an iconic vehicle in the sports saloon category. The first M5 model was hand-built beginning in late 1984 on the E28 535i chassis with a modified engine from the M1 that made it the fastest production saloon at the time. M5 models have been produced for every generation of the 5 Series since 1984, with occasional gaps in production (1995 to 1998, 2023 to 2024). Official website: BMW M

There are some interior details like the red buttons behind the steering wheel that I find overdose. Same for engine cover with M colors. They should have kept it more subtile, unless this is an option.

In my opinion looks very good and nice specially in the interior which they cant change too much from the normal 5er.
They have to put some new touch.

This is not good looking enough or mean enough.. something is off with the front the new M treatment makes it look goofy. Rear u dislike since before I hate those rear lights.
Interior is nothing special.. steering wheel is subpar.

2 things are awesome the gearknob and the seats.

All in all 5/10

Disappointing.

But still reserving judgement until real life pics.

M4 and m6gc remains the best looking Ms in my book.

As A current F10 M5 Owner I would not give it 5/10, but I am considering making my next upgrade towards a M8 gran coup to feel that the upgrade is worthy and more of a step forward.

You canoot judge the car until the actual reveal.
The steering still i have feeling that will be a gab in between in place of the black part in the middle.
Like the current M powers.

I like it but it just doesn't get me excited, I was expecting more than this. The front air intakes look too similar to other M models, not much different to the regular 5-series M sport models either. The rear looks a bit better than the regular M-sport as it doesn't have as much of the ugly black plastic. I do like the front seats, they look amazingly comfy and supportive at the shoulder level. Engine cover looks funky with the different BMW M colours. Steering wheel is a major disappointment as it looks like the regular BMW M-sport wheel, only difference is daft looking small red buttons for the M modes. I am still not sure about the wheel design.

On the whole it leaves me cold, I am slightly disappointed, in my opinion it lacks the aggression and excitement of the E63 S.

I'm with you two. Very unmoved by this car and it lacks the aggressive look I like to see. Same complaint I have with the Panamera actually. I bet it's going to drive wonderfully though.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
