The BMW M5 is a high-performance variant of the BMW 5 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. M5 models have been produced for every generation of the 5 Series since 1984, with occasional gaps in production (1995 to 1998, 2023 to 2024). Official website: BMW M
Here's a bigger picture of the interior. Looks like there's even some of the disguise tape on the gear lever.

It seems the shifter zone has no trim, unlike the standard car. It could be to emphasize the sporty look of the car.
Good observation, that's all leather. It's the same in the M3, I love it.

Best regards,

I think the M5 prototypes are still using the 550i rear bumper?

We like to F*** with your minds over details...:D

Really?.

The very only thing that disappoints me about the interior is the steering wheel, it´s just like the standard one without the chrome.

I prefer different steering whee for the M5, like this:

It's no surprise as we were told the M5 will be the pinnacle of Efficient Dynamics, but note the button to turn the Stop/Start technology on or off.

It´s german, but the numbers are the important part.

And here's Google's attempt to translate it ;):

The 4.4-liter eight-cylinder bi-turbo, which we already know from the two thick arsonists X5 M and X6 M expected to be upgraded in the M5 from 555 hp to 578 hp, while peak torque is aiming the M GmbH to a peak of 720 Nm lush at. This is promising not only on paper: The first prototypes are said to have broken with the new engine the 100-km/h-Marke in 4.4 seconds. A maximum of 250, inside a surcharge even 300 cases. As says the sporty driver. And the environment too: Instead of the previous 14.4 liters per 100 kilometers, the new M5 consuming only 10.8 liters. However, it is bad news for fans of sports vices: A new version of the M5 Touring is a lack of demand no more.

BTW, I forgot to remark the other importtant figure, the torque----> 720 NM.

The only thing we ain´t know how it´s gonna look like is the rear bumper, really curious about that. Wonder if there´s any render particullary accurate about the rear end.

Or the front. I think there will be a surprise under the disguise. I suspect it will have the small, vertical slits as seen on the 1M Coupe.

Agree, it could be very possible, but at least you have some hints about the front, as the production bumper was spoted a long ago, but the rear?. Maybe something similar to SCOTT´s avatar?.

Holy crap...................

This car is going to be nasty nice in white!

BTW, I was expecting tje inside part of the kidneys to be black, and the chrome of the outside to be thicker, are these the final kidneys?.

^^ No, those are just placeholders. The grille will be fatter than a regular 5er.

We have NO IDEA if that really was the production front bumper. That's othing more than a guess.
We don't know about the back OR front of the M5.

I'm so pleased they chose to return to that wheel design. Also M cars look their best in light colours so I can't wait to see the finished product in either white or silver, preferably with gun metal finished alloys. :0vr:

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
