when is this car debuting????
i think the e63 has alot to deal with when ever this car comes out

In defense of Klier, assume from his location that dutch is his native language. I very much admire those with multiple language skills.

Just my $.02

Oh, very much so. I'm always amazed at the standard of English spoken by the Dutch. I know because I live amongst them in the Netherlands. Despite being here for eight years I don't speak a word of Dutch. I've never tried to be honest. :eusa_doh:

If only I could get them to speak proper Queen's English and not this nonsense American English. :D

Of course. I wasn't blaming him for getting it wrong, just pointing it out. It is easy to get these usages wrong, especially if English is not their native language.

to be totally honest, the Belgians are better 'cause we can add french to our skills, ever heard a dutchman saying something in french, it's funnyyy :D just kiddin'

Well, looks like apologies towards Betty are in place...so, with this....

Amen to that :D

In any case the new M5 will be a great car and am realy looking froward to seeiing the first concept version (which has become a tradition for M cars)

Eni, Scott, Do you know what special new color will the new M5 come with? There's always a new color with M car. What new shade of red or blue or black? ;)

Shows some promise but the rear is totally wrong. has a bit more sculpture especially at the rear valence and diffuser.

This one relies too much on the M3 where you should really look to the X5/X6M for the sharper look on the M5 and the M1.

They are still working on the trim and color palettes. The important thing to remember which the media have forgotten is the comments from the M Division that the car will debut before the IAA in 2011.

So, we have learned that the F10 M5 will not have a proper LSD. Is there any information regarding the posibility of getting an LSD on other M models?

^ You must be joking. Where did I miss this?

I think I overlooked the fact that the article I was reading concerned the F10 5-series, not the F10 M5. The M5 must have a real LSD, anything else is just silly.

Sorry for that.

Is it certain that the F10 M5 will have shouty bumpers a la E90 or will it be more like the E39 M5, which means much more discreet and low-profile?

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
