I like it a lot, but it really doesn't advance the design language.

It just looks like an outlier with no connection within the line-up both current, past, or short-medium term future. I think this would have been an ideal candidate for a bespoke Alpina since that was the plan when BMW fully acquired Alpina: produce bespoke bodies over existing platforms.

Everyone can still own a SkyTop.

I would have thought F91 Skytop if they're going down that route - and I don't see why they wouldn't.

I have never seen a platform code announced. I can only presume that it’s similar to the G82 3.0 CSL?
