Concept BMW Concept Speedtop

Future car concepts, design studies, prototype vehicles, emerging technologies, and previews of what may come next.
It’s Old School luxury bespoke building. Most certainly learned through expertise at Rolls-Royce.

I would have liked Speedtop to be a 5 dr. But if they do decide to bring such a vehicle to mainstream volume production?

They can use the term “Speed” in front of Touring. To symbolise a lower and more sporting interpretation of a typical Touring.

It looks nice, but the interior is a letdown for the asking price IMO.
Why?

Even in a Rolls Royce you’ve most of the BMW Buttons and Stalks.

TBH the current iDrive without the separate A/C buttons is a step backwards.

The Rolls might have BMW parts sprinkled into its dashboard but the main design signature is all Rolls-Royce.
The Skytop and Speedtop interiors appear to be directly pulled from the BMW 8 Series, whose design would fit a $70K BMW. They already look 10 or more years old. This one element might cause this car to lose value. Considering this is a half-million-dollar vehicle, BMW should have pulled out all its cards and come up with something unique and a bit different from its current offerings.

What a masterpiece from the outside .It really needs a better interior to match the gorgeous exterior

Would have been perfect as a five dr.
Practical yet exclusive.
Looking at the Speedtop. Beginning to think there could be potential to diversify for a grande finale trifecta.
A raised height Speed Xcountry. Similar in execution to the Volvo XC Coupe Concept.
The Winter resorts demand exclusivity in the car parks. Hence why a new model launched in the last quarter of the year will be first seen at these resorts.

I have heard that there is someone who ordered a Speedtop on the account that their, or one of their daily drivers? Is the Z3M Coupe and they see Speedtop as some sort of successor. 😎

Are these the thinnest headlights of all cars? What comes close or surpasses it? a Lucid Air comes to mind.
Notice how there's no "split headlight" with the main beams placed lower like a 7er or X7; what we see is what we get.

The BMW Alpina is on a whole different level BTW.
