Come on carry on
Imagine u invite 4 of ur friends to a movie and u paid for him and u dont like the movie but u cant tell them lets get out from this shit:LOL::p

Judging by the interior design and exterior styling of the 7-series, I don't think the new 5-series will spring any surprises.

The only thing I really look forward to is the new M5. Let's see how much lighter they can make it compared to the current one.

If the new 5er resembles the 7 series too much I will pass, the 7 series look is dull and boring for me. I am torn between the 5 and 6 series. My e90 needs a rest.

Hey @SCOTT27 any confirmation on where the G30 and G31 will be released? Looks like G30 hedging for Detroit instead of Paris as anticipated.. And will then also the G31 not be in Geneva and moved to IAA 2017?

Nothing new with that pic, we have seen the side profile of the car on other pages. We need pics with less disguise to see the details.

I would wait until the car is revealed. It seems to be a controversial design element. I have always liked the cleaness in BMW design compared to that of brands like MB or Audi. On paper I am not a fan of this new shoulder line, but the execution will be key.

^agree. the swage line has always been clean, and defines a BMW since the early beginning when they started to make cars. Having fancy lines doesn't look bad but the question is why. They managed very dynamic looking side profiles with a clean line, the more recent ones with flame surfacing, so why do they want to finish off their own trademark design element, that doesn't make it better? I mean if the car has a very controversial futuristic new shape that doesn't warrant a straight line anymore (like the Z4 or i8) then fine. Don't put lines there just for the sake of it, like MB.

Here's a comparison between the double shoulder line and a more normal shoulder line. I actually like the regular line more.

Because the double shoulder line in that chop is just as crappy as the rest of the render.
Very poor.
