No confirmed date. Only Scott's statement a few weeks ago with an unveiling within 40 days (deadline is July 9th) and a posting of David J Hilton that he has read at an other site the rumor of July 9th or 10th.

A member of motor-talk.de and obviously an employee with BMW has seen the car undisguised a few days ago.
His impression of the car is it's a beatiful car but we must not expect surprises referred to the design. But I think we all know this.
The G30 will get also the metal coated buttons known from the G11. But it will get also black shiny parts like at the F30 LCI.
Laserlight as option ( the 760 will be the once model with laserlight as standard )
For me interesting was a point referred to the iDrive in general that the recent version would be a great step between the iDrive Pro at the F10 and an "InCar Tablet to go" for tomorrow.
This is planned for the successor of the G30, maybe for the LCI G30.

I feel that bmw will go with a surprise revealing for the new 5 because we are getting closer and closer to the date which scott had stated (9-june) and there is nothing till now !!!
It was the 9th July, which is this coming Saturday. If it's a surprise unveiling then it would be most unusual.
