4 Series BMW 4-Series Coupe Concept

The BMW 4 Series is a range of compact executive cars manufactured by BMW since 2013. The 4 Series was created when BMW spun off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the 3 Series into a separate series.
BMW 4-Series Document Allegedly Confirms Production Dates and Engine Range

The members of one of the many model-specific forums sprouting on the internet these days, have purportedly gained access to a snippet from an official BMW document listing a number of details including the production dates and model trims for the upcoming 4-Series range, which was teased through a coupe concept at last month's Detroit Motor Show.

For starters, the list states that the F32, which is BMW's code-name for the coupe, will be offered at launch in four flavors – the 428i and 428xi (all-wheel drive) motivated by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four (likely delivering 240-horses), and the 435i and 435xi featuring a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six (with 300hp unless BMW uses its more potent 315hp unit).

Series production of the 2013 model Coupe will begin this July at BMW's Munich factory and will end in June of 2014, when the new model year kicks in.

The Convertible version codenamed F33 will be offered with the same two engines in the 428i and 435i, but only all with rear-wheel drive. Production starts at the BMW's Regensburg factory in November of 2013 and ends in June next year.

In both cases, the last date refers to the end of production for the specific MY (Model Year), not the series, which at that point, will continue with a new model year that may or may not bring some updates.

Meh
What a boring line up..ihope to hell they bring the 4er or the M3.. or else Geneva will suck for BMW

Surely BMW will hold something back for a surprise reveal? They're not going to reveal everything before the event.

^ No but you were asking for it without saying it. Don't play the devil's advocate here.
You find every BMW show boring, stupid and lame. There is nothing new here, you've been saying this since like 2004, for every show.

Thats cause mostly they are boring..they usually release the cars way before the shows, and then they have so called world premiers at the shows..which then takes away some of the magic.
I find this idea flawed, and every show ive been to ( and its been a few through the years) bmw has always had a lack luster presence.
Not due to their cars at all, but more due to their strategy.

And i think im entitled to having that opinion, without you bringing mercedes into it right?

Btw what about the X5 shouldn't it be at Geneva then?

Hmm well I like it this way. I much rather see them presenting a new car/concept on a rainy day out of the blue when I'm comfy on my couch and not even expecting it. More exposure this way, when there's only one new car for the media instead of 25.
On a car show they can show those 'internet presented' cars to the public, next to examples of the rest of the line-up.

But then again, BMW has Welt, which is the biggest non stop car show in the world :D You'll find it a boring place too I'm sure ;)

Having been to every Geneva/Paris/Frankfurt motor show in the last eight years, I'd say BMW are generally more disappointing than MB. However, Paris last year was absolutely terrible in terms of MB. Nothing of much interest and a tiny stand.
