So the winner is:

1. E350 - 3 216 points
2. 530i – 3 196 points
3. A6 3.2 – 3 164 points

Comment: The Mercedes gets 48 points more than the BMW in sub categories “trunk space” and “versatility”.
 
WoW, only 3 points difference in comfort between 5er and E-class. Shows that 5er is not an uncomfortable car.

and 530i and E350 both with 272hp, very close in acceleration, 530i faster at higher speeds.
 
BMW looses in trunk space and versatility as usual. Well it wouldn't fit the BMW image to make huge trunks, I guess. They even call the Touring models "lifestyle-estates". It would have been interesting if they tested the sedan versions. Maybe that comes later. Seems like Audi really needs the 3.2 Valvelift engine ASAP...
