Expected result IMO,I´m not suprised .MB really needs to get rid of auto trany and replace it with proper manual or sequential one.All that power and torque and it still means nothing compared to M5´s V10 masterpiece .

SMG trany really makes the difference here.It may not be smooth or easy to live with as MB automatic but IT delivers Rolling acceleration?I bet on almost equal results for both cars.

M5 has the edge above 200km/h, it doenst matter if its from the roll or standstill. Below 200km/h, these two are almost equal.

Both cars are slow...especially when you compare the acceleration date with the ones of AMS - and at that test, they tested the Touring versions...

...but the cars, that were tested by Autozeitung had less kilometres...11000 isn't a lot and the car isn't really driven into...so, that's the reason for the bad acceleration data.

The M5's slalom speed is 3mph faster then the E63, that's alot if you ask me!

I think that's mostly because of the weight of the E63.
The RS6 will probably be even slower because of this.

I don't, but I do not think it will be of much use in the slalom. The BMW and Mercedes have more than enough grip there in normal conditions.
