Audi Sport says EV replacement for its long-running coupé will be a total clean-sheet design
Audi is in an “intense concept phase” for the electric successor to the TT, experimenting with different silhouettes and soundtracks as it plots a replacement for the popular sports coupé, which retired last year.

Looks like A6 e-Tron is fasttracked for a launch this summer with A5 to follow after - seems like they want to fully establish the PPE lineup before revealing the PPC lineup.
But this timeline doesn't make sense to me, as they're announcing the next gen EA888 and EA839 in Vienna this April.
PPE underpins the Macan and Q6 and is their electric platform (premium platform electric), PPC (premium platform combustion) will underpin ICE cars like the upcoming A5. EA888 is their turbo 4 cylinder and EA839 is the turbo V6.Please explain the difference between PPE and PPC.
Also what are rhe EA888 and EA839?
Er how is this Mercedes' fault?Comment
Audi, that's not enough!

With the Q6 e-tron, Audi presents a new model after three years. The vehicle is at most a starting point for achieving the premium manufacturer's goals, says Automobilwoche journalist Lennart Wermke.
A joke?Er how is this Mercedes' fault?
Hoping the opposite is true - Audi interior quality has gone down (not the materials, but build quality) during the MLBevo era with the current A4/A5/Q5/Q7s etc, so I'm hoping the new PPE/PPC era under the new CEO brings greater attention to build quality.- Thank's Mercedes! for planting the seed of discord.... Do we expect even cheaper interiors?
LOL my bad, my bad.A joke?
Don't think that will happen unless Ferdinand Piech comes back from the dead.Hoping the opposite is true - Audi interior quality has gone down (not the materials, but build quality) during the MLBevo era with the current A4/A5/Q5/Q7s etc, so I'm hoping the new PPE/PPC era under the new CEO brings greater attention to build quality.
Audi and VW are both going cheap skates nowadays with their interiors. Hard plastic on the tops of the rear doors and no rear door trim. If FP was still on top, then the Golf would have higher material build than an E-class and 5-series.Don't think that will happen unless Ferdinand Piech comes back from the dead.
Wow that is a massive launch parade. It's about time as they delayed so many new model launches for many years. I was really thinking at one point, is Audi going the way of Jaguar with no new A4 in 9 years. We are planning more than 20 new models in 2024 and 2025, including the presentation of the Audi A6 e-tron in the summer of 2024 and the new generation of the Audi A5 and Q5 as the first models on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) in the second half of the year.
I expected Q7 sales to be higher. I'm impressed that Bentley sold more cars and generated more revenue than Lamborghini. The reason is probably that Revuelto sales are still ramping up and the Hurecan is at the end of its life.
I don't know why you think that is? It was always like that, at least the last decade, sedans, "normal" SUVs and coupes vs supercars.....I expected Q7 sales to be higher. I'm impressed that Bentley sold more cars and generated more revenue than Lamborghini. The reason is probably that Revuelto sales are still ramping up and the Hurecan is at the end of its life.
