Audi e-tron Sportback


Nice details, the nomenclature is strange, I thought it was something related to a coupe version of Q5 but I see by size that it is the coupe of the e-tron, that is a competitor of the X6, I thought that the Q8 and the normal e-tron were the coupe versions of Q7, I'm officially confused

E-Tron is more Q5 sized than Q8 size.
Actually going by size its Q2, Q3 Sportback, Q3, Q5, e-tron, Q8, Q7.

The e-tron is like a streched, a bit wider Q5. The Q8 appears a lot bigger since it's taller, and a lot wider, wider even than the Q7.

That would be nice but only if the car can accommodate batteries without compromising boot space.
 
I thought Audi didn't design the X6/X4/GLE coupe/GLC coupe clone cause they are FU**ING ugly. The Q8 was a way better take on the "coupe" SUV format. And then they do this, and the Q3 sportback. So i guess a Q6/Q5 Sportback is a matter of time... shame.
 
I've seen a couple of sportbacks on the road, it's a very good looking SUV, Audi nailed it again. Not enough room in the back for our dog so I wouldn't buy one myself.
 
The eTron Sportback is currently my favorite elevated ride-height vehicle by Audi.
 
Agree that this is the most attractive Audi in a long time. I always look if there’s one passing by. Only two things they should really improve is range (or lack thereof) and the fat finger screen bonanza. Probably me but just cannot keep your eyes on the road when using it. So much better with iDrive.

Oh, there's a "corporate identity thingy" goin' on, for sure. However, the upcoming Audi (Sport) eTron GT is underpinned by the Porsche Taycans' "J1" dedicated BEV platform. The Audi eTron/Sportback are based on the MLBevo platform which was modified (and therefore not dedicated) to accomodate large batteries.
 
I think Audi's range of SUV's are looking fantastic, much better looking than their saloons and hatches in my opinion.

I'm quite inclined to agree. Save the A/S6 sedans/Avants (which I find very handsome), Audis' current "non-SUV/SAC" offerings are leaving me ambivalent at best. IMHO, there doesn't appear to be a weak link in its' "elevated ride height" model offerings. I'm certainly hoping that the soon-to-be presented production eTron GT will be an accurate precursor for future Audi sedans, sedoupes and Avants.
