C'mon. That's the S5 car, not test mule, no RS engine testing, nothing! S5!!!

And intakes are the same, it's the angle of the shot that confuses you...;)

That plastic inside the vents has slightly different shape of holes...

And that shape that i didn't notice (sorry) due to the bad pic quality...

It's the RS5 because of that??? Gimme a break, please...

I have no idéa what it is. But when the car with a S emblem dosne't look like a S, I have to ask.
and:
It's RS net :) Haha, a friend of mine told me that they are probably testing the new RS net!

I said, maybe it's the RS5, maybe the S-Line (it's not - Audi Deutschland > Startseite) ?
It looks to me like a personal trim.... NOT!

The main quest: does anybody except Audi have an 5 yet?
and why dosn't it look like a normal S5 ?

I think your on to something! That is certainly mesh around the fog lamps, and I haven't seen that anywhere but this picture. Considering the RS6 will have mesh inserts it only makes that the RS5 will to.

P.S Is TychoonGTR lost or something!:D

A very lucky member of the Fourtitude Forums caught the Audi’s North American-spec A5 preproduction cars in California recently. You already knew about the existence of this car, but now you have the chance to see it. Note in particular the wheels, a new design not-yet seen but definitely due to go into production.

GABO photographed the new coupé in Italy – even before its world premiere. It all happened under strict confidentiality. Always in line with the motto: nobody sees the car apart from the camera. And of course the principal characters in the story, a love story: Natalia Wörner and Robert Seeliger. What emerged was a road movie about cars, food, design, fashion, architecture and Italian life. In Verona, Audi is presenting the A5 and the impressive photos of the coupé to the world’s media. The highlights: GABO, Natalie Wörner, Robert Seeliger, Yello and Michalsky share the honours – a road movie becomes reality.
GABO is an extraordinary woman – and a creative, outlandish photographer. Or rather: a photographic artist. She used to work as a model and from this experience knows exactly how people feel in front of the camera. She studied graphics in Hamburg, has travelled the world, and over the years has developed a passion for photography. Her black-and-white photographs of the young Boris Becker were striking. She made her breakthrough with a photo article about Herbert Grönemeyer for the magazine STERN.

News about GABO’s feel for the perfect stage for her models and her skilled use of light has spread quickly. No German photographer has taken pictures of so many important and interesting people from the world of politics, culture and society – and portraits have become her trademark. GABO’s pictures show people from their better side – they show their personalities. Now her successes have been extended to a car. "For Walter de’Silva, designing a car is an art," said GABO about the chief designer. "That meant that I had to photograph the A5 as if it were a work of art." The A5 is in good company. She has already photographed celebrities such as Richard von Weizsäcker, Claudia Schiffer, Kevin Costner and Eric Clapton.

Yello’s music stands for progressiveness and perfection. The two Swiss artists Boris Blank and Dieter Meier compose perfect electronic music from noise samples. Perfection – also elementary for Audi, whether workmanship, performance or design. Yello developed the music for the A5 TV commercial. The campaign is due to start on 21 May 2007 in Germany, and will become international in June.

New engines for Audi A5 Coupe

Audi’s stunning new A5 coupe still isn’t available in most markets yet but the company has already seen fit to expand the model range to include two new six-cylinder engines. The new engines come in at the low-end with a 2.7L TDI and 3.2 FSI model that are mated to continuously variable multitronic transmissions.
The 2.7 TDI churns out only 140kW (190hp) of power but makes up for it with 400Nm of torque and a fuel rating of just 6.7L/100km. Despite this, it manages to get a reasonable 0-100km time of 7.6s and a top speed of 232km/h.
The V6 petrol engine is the same as that used throughout the Audi lineup and delivers 195kW (265hp) and 330Nm of torque. Acceleration times are up to 6.6s but fuel economy also suffers with a rating of 8.7L
 
For the UK, The 2.7TDI comes with FWD only and has Multitronic transmission as standard, while the 3.2 FSI will be available with either FWD with Multitronic or quattro with a manual 'box. :usa7uh:
