I gotta say I haven't read anything so stupid in all my time here. Early adopters? So that is the new excuse for garbage quality? I hate to tell you this but Tesla has been building cars for years now and that excuse is just bullshit. Period. Secondly surveys about how happy people are with a car does not mean that the car is quality. Like seriously try to process this. Satisfaction and quality surveys are NOT THE SAME THING. In the USA Tesla DOESN'T EVEN ALLOW THEIR CUSTOMERS TO PARTICIPATE IN QUALITY SURVEYS. Tenth time - WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND HERE? In every survey about quality that there is enough data to measure Tesla, they're at the bottom. NO ONE here was arguing happiness with their cars.

First it was they can't make a quality cars because of the investing in tech.
Then it was oh the new factories are better and everything will be fixed by 2023.
Then it became they're all early adopters, even though the model S and X have been in production for YEARS.
Now it's they're happy with their junk so it's okay.

These are by far the stupidest most idiotic list of excuses I have ever seen. It's worse than American car fanatics trying to defend the junk that GM, Ford and Chrysler made in the 1980's.

You are such an idiot. I've never said that the quality is good. What I said was that despite the bad quality the owners of the cars are still happy with them. Because they know that they are helping this company to grow and to become better. And the bad initial quality is the price to pay for this growth. And they are paying this price with the concious that they are doing something good. But an idiot like you can never understand this.

Well , that somehow bipolar. Because on the other topic , nobody said that Teslas are top notch , yet you defended MB and insinuated that "we hate MB and we are Tesla fanboys" , and this is not true. And it sounded like you were giving excuses for EQS being garbage quality in some parts.

The point is that MB and BMW world renown top quality is not a thing anymore. Is far from it

And until guys like you stop defending it , and criticize them , maybe they will step up their game and invest those MASSIVE-BARBARIC-OUTRAGEOUS profits that they made last year in more R&D and F&F

Me and others don't defend Teslas. We just hate to pay over 100k for plastic. At least a Model 3 , with all it's problems , it's around 40k.

PS: I drove the same MB car , daily , for 7 years. You just can't make me a Tesla fan boy. I'm just tired of they bullshit plastic everywhere...

Nah you're just projecting your own issues. When you start saying that I insinuated something you've lost the plot. My position didn't need to be insinuated, it was clear from that start that Mercedes isn't perfect, but it's better than the absolute shit that Tesla puts together. The part that really gets me is that you and others keep talking about Mercedes as if that does something to take the stink off Tesla. It doesn't. NO MATTER what you say about Mercedes it doesn't change the absolute garbage reputation Tesla has for build quality and what they're delivering to their customers. I haven't defended anything about Mercedes (again you can't read), as I was the first one to complain about vehicles like the EQS and Mercedes' overall slipping in quality. GO BACK and read through the Mercedes threads. You don't know what you're talking about. Other Mercedes fans are sick of me complaining about Mercedes' problems. As far as Tesla is concerned, I don't care if the car costs 100K or 40K it shouldn't fall apart in the rain or have paint that doesn't match from front to back or side to side. Cost is another lame excuse that you guys use to justify it. NO, you made yourself about to be a Tesla fanboy with your ridiculous tirades about Mercedes' quality and the delusional belief that Mercedes on the whole suffers from the same shit quality as Tesla. That wasn't necessary if your problem is about Mercedes' plastics. Tesla is still utter shit by comparison.

I told you before that people have always loved junk cars at some point from every manufacturer. That doesn't prove or mean squat, the quality is still shit. ATP numbers are always fun to look at. Mercedes' are completely on a different level now because they haven't built a C-Class or any FWD based car for the American market in months. Genesis has passed all of it's Asian competition, that can't be a good feeling for Lexus.

For all the talk of MB/BMW going up market with EVs, we are probably going to see the opposite in the EV market - only BMW/MB EVs that are selling in any sort of meaningful numbers are cheaper ones like i3/Mini and Smart/EQA. And that is in its own home market.

Are you talking about the cheap i3 that costs around $40,000? or the i3 that sells more than the new Ionic 5? or the i3 that has been on the market for 9 years?

Regarding the iX/EQS, I don't see the model S on the list, which would be the one in the price range, is it because it is not sold in Germany? or simply because almost nothing is sold?

You must give time to the newcomers among them to the i4

AFAIK, yes, the new Model S (and X) is only in sale in US as of 2021, where it sold ~4000 in Jan (which is very likely more than how many iX or EQS sold globally combined!)
