Correct. Then have an italian run it or at least get the guy to practice some basic italian.Stellantis (FIAT+PSA) is an Italian/French joint venture

While dyed-in-the-wool, impervious Alfaisti may disagree, I remain to question whether there are any reasons (save the brand name) whatsoever to select the Tonale over myriad other segment offerings.
...at least get the guy to practice some basic italian.
I expect them on the Facelift Giulia and Stelvio. They say it introduces a new face for Alfa Romeo.I like the design language. If we could get a Giulia sports sedan with these headlights and rear lights, then that’d look cool. Maybe a facelift would suffice?
We will probably be cursing this car in 20 years time. And celebrating the Punto reaching a millennium. Is the car based on the Fiat Tipo Cross:

Dated before it’s launched. Why even bother?
The Tonale is clearly not the choice for a car enthusiast, but perhaps it could be a slightly more “adventurous” and “dynamic” alternative for someone otherwise considering a Peugeot, Opel, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Mazda or Ford? Alfa are committing a huge mistake if they try to pitch the Tonale against similar models from Audi, BMW and Mercedes. It won’t fly.It could have been presented 7 years ago and nothing happened, a currently invisible company like Alfa Romeo with almost no sales does this?
It is homogeneous and nothing more, zero creativity and less novelty, it does not impact anywhere or stand out from anything.
All the design keys are from a decade ago, the general shape is in my opinion of the Mito that was not even very successful, the wheels are practically the same, the three-dimensional grille was used by everyone and was abandoned years ago, the front lights of the Brera Without further ado, the widened organic rear flanks expired and as a whole it could be a Mazda seen in profile.
Alfa Romeo if it continues like this it will not go anywhere

Correct, at least it would be a strategy to follow. The Tonale is clearly not the choice for a car enthusiast, but perhaps it could be a slightly more “adventurous” and “dynamic” alternative for someone otherwise considering a Peugeot, Opel, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Mazda or Ford? The wider problem I see with the Giulia and Stelvio is that they were pitched against the BMW and priced accordingly. That was never going to fly considering the poorer brand reputation and non-existent dealer support. They are good cars but should have been priced to be significantly cheaper than the equivalent BMW. Then people could have seen that they are getting a BMW for the price of a Peugeot and that would have been an appealing proposition. Currently I can get a well-specced w206 C Class for cheaper than an equivalent Giulia and that’s an equation that no customer will solve.
Yes it looks like it's pissed off that someone just stole its last meatball.Giulia with this front end will be the most beautiful car in its segment. Headlights look so good.
Will it happen?Yes it looks like it's pissed off that someone just stole its last meatball.
