Yes, but why would he go to Ferrari ?

The challenge perhaps ? Toto really has little left, if anything, to prove at M-B AMG Petronas F1 (6 consecutive WCC/WDC titles). And Toto Wolff being the savvy businessman that he is, may very well accept an offer by John Elkann/Ferrari that he simply cannot refuse.

A bit of a circa as of 1996 "Benetton--->Ferrari" thing sans the Briatore element.

Yes. But he can raise the bar with Mercedes, while in Ferrari he takes risk to adapt, fail short.
In Ferrari he may don't have free hand to do what he wants.
But we will see. I doubt that Toto is only one which Ferrari need, he should take with him a few people from Mercedes too.
But anyway, i believe that this transfer ( Toto & Lewis ) is possible only if Mercedes leave.

What Toto says :
Wolff doesn't need "reinvention" in job away from Mercedes F1 team

There are rumors that Daddy Stroll will take some stake in Aston Martin so Racing Point will be rebranded as Aston Martin with MB engines...Probably they will have more sponsors because of the name but other than that I don't see the point of it since Lance is pure sh*t IMHO.

Also AM is in pretty bad situation, F1 is not their way out of it...

Oh, I absolutely agree. Rory Byrne, for example, soon followed Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn to Ferrari-along with a number of other Benetton key personnel back in 1996/97.

Lance Stroll should never have been in F1, that is crystal clear!

5 year contract extention for Charles Leclerc at the Scuderia Ferrari. And the decision whether or not to retain Sebastian Vettel will allegedly be made by the end of May 2020, at the very latest. Potential for big fireworks and rivers of toxic waters at Ferrari in 2020.

It will probably be many oportunities for Vettel in 2020 to loose his head again....

It will probably be many oportunities for Vettel in 2020 to loose his head again....

...or quite the opposite may happen.

Vettel, in full recognition that his tenure at Ferrari is quickly drawing towards an end, will be in full-battle mode. Absolutely egocentric and ruthless with no intention of team-playing, hence removing his shackles of technical over-analysis, "correct" team politics and just...driving the living hell out of his car. Should he be adament about remaining in F1 as of 2021, he'll know that it will be necessary to impress potential future employers immensely. Actually, there can be so very much to gain and very little to lose for Sebastian Vettel in 2020.
Charles Leclerc may be in for a most difficult season in which, at the end, Vettel can flip him as well as Matteo Binotto a smug farewell bird.

Max has extended his contract with RB until 2023. This is only bad news to MB, who will need to retain Lewis for at least 3 more seasons, while not being able to sign one of the two possible future world champions of the future.

Lewis is staying if Mercedes is staying remember what I said. If Mercedes leaves f1 then Lewis goes elsewhere so Mercedes are hardly bothered by max staying with rb to 2024.
I’m just happy I don’t want him in Mercedes at all:)

Opportunities arising for Lando Norris perhaps ?

Mercedes have invested in George Russel which I would like to believe that they will give Bottas' seat so that he can shadow Lewis before he leaves the team or sport.

Although there are rumours of Lewis joining Ferrari, I don't believe it will happen next year. Lewis is a sensitive guy and there is too much Italian passion in the pressure cooker that is the Ferrari team. With 6 titles and potentially 7 at the end of next year, Lewis doesn't need to win with Ferrari to be validated as one of the greatest drivers ever.
