I once saw a brand new E class being delivered from the port. It was covered in a thick layer of dust, grime and bird droppings, however according to the sales person and an independent car detailer, they said MB applied a thick layer of wax over the cars before transportation to protect the paint against sea salt and other elements during transportation. It's funny people get delivered brand new clean cars and don't realize it likely collected a thick layer of dust for months prior.
Most brands just park units in the massive port parking lot.
Is this guy insane!?
That guy is definitely crazy to drive the car like that! Lucky the road is wide enough and not close to the public for him to drive it in a bad irresponsible wayIs this guy insane!?
What a disaster the 991 GT3 situation was/is... and the 991.2 GT3 is also having delays that are angering customers.
Regarding damage, if the vehicular damage is over 5% of the MSRP value, then the dealer is legally required to disclose. Most customers have no clue about this, so it's a "don't ask, don't tell" scenario.
Unfortunately the E63 S loses this race, but not by much and I am sure over longer stretch will catch up and overtake the Tesla. But that Tesla is blistering up to the 1/4 mile. E 63 S sounds 1000% times better than the sewing machine 100D.
The Tesla would lose big time to the E63 S around any well known track it is also a heavy weight at 2200kg. If I had the choice it would be the Mercedes anytime, it is the most exciting car to drive even if it's not the fastestDo people still care these quarter miles races? Put that tesla around a couple of fast sweeping bends and see how fast it can make it.
This is what I am worried about as well, what kind of damages were caused to these cars? And I was naive to think that this sort of damage only happens in Hong Kong. I was told of horror stories about new cars driven from the dock to dealerships quickly without proper warm-up that caused major damage to the said cars.
