I believe they decided to name it Lunar Blue in US.
They have the code 890 and you can see the colour in the video postet by rs271.

BRABUS is so proficient when it comes to elegant modification:

...although they have on occasion presented something far less than that...

I loved that EVO video of the E63S killing a Panny Turbo! Doesn't often happen that a Merc beats a Porsche in acceleration so when it happens you gotta make a big deal of it. (Even if the Merc has much more HP).

Well done AMG. You have shot the lights out with this generation E-class AMG.

What's up with MBUSA taking so long to deliver AMGs? The quickest way to loose customers.

AMG GTR owners were supposed to get their cars 10 months ago, but dealerships have not received shipments still.

Blame VW so now the EPA and every other government regulator is going over every car with a fine tooth comb now. Mercedes, Porsche and others have all had delays like this. There are a group of AMG GTR owners/buyers on MBWorld that are upset because they found out their cars have been in ports since April/May (allegedly). The so called "problem" is their own creation because they're nosey AF, because Mercedes never promised the AMG GTR to U.S. customers until Fall of this year.

If I'm paying $170K+ for an GT R, honestly I'd be nosey too checking it's whereabouts occasionally. They probably tracked the cargo ship from Germany to the ports of New Jersey.

MBUSA just needs to stop promising release dates for now like Ferrari does.

I remember on another forum years ago, they had contact with a port employee and they had him take photos of their cars when they arrived. Of course he was fired for violating rule #1.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I wouldn't care as much long as I get the car around the time they said I would, now after that time I would want to know. Worrying about a car not due until summer/fall because you found out (allegedly) that it arrived in the U.S. port back in April/May is just retarded IMO. Summer isn't over and those people need to find something else to worry about IMO. Plus it's not all Mercedes' fault. They're dealing with the U.S. government. Think about that for a moment.

@Merc1; The folks on Mbworld tend to whine a lot, so I get where your coming from. It's either someone is presenting their new car or they're there to complain. I lost interest in the site; it used to be great in the early 2000s.

There's this one guy in the W222 forum who does nothing but complain about the brand direction and how AMG & AMG packages are a crime, yet he owns a S550. You probably know who I'm talking about.

Lol, I tracked the ship my GT4 came in as it crossed the atlantic. And I was not alone. But I definitely would not be happy if my car sat in a port exposed to the elements for months. Happened to many 991.1 gt3 folks with the recall - not a happy situation.

At least for MB at Port Elizabeth, this is how their giant warehouse looks like. 3-4 years ago.

It's funny people get delivered brand new clean cars and don't realize it likely collected a thick layer of dust for months prior.

Most brands just park units in the massive port parking lot.

^That is better. The pics of lines of GT3 parked outside in the snow/sun was a sad sight. Many had paint damage from moisture getting trapped under the white plastic stickers they use for protection during transportation. One thing else I learned - lot of cars have body/paint damage that get fixed at the port. RL had a spy that would report back if you gave him your vin if it got fixed at the port.

What a disaster the 991 GT3 situation was/is... and the 991.2 GT3 is also having delays that are angering customers.

Regarding damage, if the vehicular damage is over 5% of the MSRP value, then the dealer is legally required to disclose. Most customers have no clue about this, so it's a "don't ask, don't tell" scenario.

Lol I know exactly who you're talking about. But yes Mercedes (and other automakers) has been having this issue for a while now. I actually remember 1-2 years ago CLS sales were in the double digits one month because all of the refresh models had been held at port and there was nothing but existing inventory to sell.
