Yawn! I had high hopes in it & was expecting a striking new roadster. But after what I just saw, I'm disappointed big time. Thank you Mazda.

As far as the physical appearance goes, this car is just about as dull as a base model low-end Asian hatch. Of course, IMO.

honestly i think its a great transformation form what is was.
they really updated the design to meet today language.

if only the performance would beat or equal Toyota 86, then it would be a real contender.

Exactly. It looks less atractive than their FWD cars like 6, 3, 2 and CX-5. Pitty also about the F-Type tail lights gone wrong.

I'm seriously let down by this new MX-5. Seriously.

Holey crap..... that is a HUGE let down! After all their amazing concept design, this was the car where they could have really gone wild and created something very exciting. This thing looks less aggressive and stylish than the Mazda 6!

Better rims may balance out the car a little, but it'll still be terrible.

surely not a very normal design but i like it, has a different character, both front and rear lights are out of expectation, which isn't a problem for a brand like Mazda, to differentiate themselves.
