2013 Range Rover gets rendered
The 2013 Range Rover has been losing some of its camouflage, so the folks at PS-Garage whipped up some new renderings of the redesigned crossover.
Instantly recognizable, the picture shows the model will have an evolutionary design with an Evoque-inspired front fascia, restyled mirrors and new taillights. While it's just an artist's interpretation of how the model will look, most of the details appear accurate so expect the production version to closely mirror the rendering.
As we have previously reported, the Range Rover is expected to ride on an aluminum-intensive platform that was co-developed with Jaguar. It could enable the model to weigh 400 kg (882 lbs) less than its predecessor.
Engine options are expected to carryover, so expect the usual suspects including a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with upwards of 510 PS (375 kW / 503 hp).

The chop is off, the new car is less top heavy than the outgoing model and has a green house that's more aligned with that of the RR Sport. I would love to see an unethically big two door SUV based on the large Range Rover.
SKYSONY, the RR Sport competes with the X5. This is the big body RR - it is 40% more costly than an X5 and significantly larger. It competes with the GL-Class. If BMW had an X7, then this would be its competitor.I don´t know if interior pics have been posted:

To me, this is the only car that can compete against the X5. Eventhough my current fav SUV is the Cayenne, both the RR and the X5 are on another level IMO.
That front end is looking a bit soft for a Range Rover.
It's definitely not as in-your-face or intimidating as the current car, which is a bit of a shame. Also the interior lost its uniqueness and looks too much like their lesser offering.
Indeed and it somehow reminds me of the less expensive offering from the brand.
