2010 Paris Salon: Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept

Looks a lot better than that photo released before the show, but still a little disappointed overall. Is this all Lamborghini is showing at the show?

Well it certainly looks bizarre/crazy/outlandish/wild/and "cool" in the "whaaaaoohh" sense of the word.

But I don't find it to be a nice car. I don't little tiny little cars all so much though. I even can't stand the Gallardo due to its compactness.

Performance wise, it's surely a marvel.

I give Lamborghini credit for pushing the boundaries with the styling, it is nice to see something refreshing once in a while. However all these angles and crease lines is too much for such a small body. It does have some 80s feel to it, it reminds me of the old computer games when cars or characters resemble a collection of polygons. Those 10 holes on the back section of the car looks horrible, it looks like the car is suffering from some skin disease.

I kind of like it from this angle

I find it to be very similar to the F117 Stealth Fighter.......................

The irony is F117 used faceted surfaces cause of lack of computational power in the 70s to model radio waves from a RADAR reflecting off a curved surface. Stealth aircraft moved away from using faceted surfaces long since then. The F117 was supposed to have a aero of statue of liberty with wings.

The other funny thing, when I was in school, every other science exhibition, at least one kid would slap together a stealth car/aircraft model cause it was so easy - just glue together some cardboard pieces at acute angles and call it a day, which probably explains my derision towards these stealth aircraft "inspired" designs.

That interior looks like what was once a car, yet now has turned into twisted and deformed sheetmetal. Looks like the rotting aftermath of a car once used as a driving bomb in a war zone, with some fancy red stuff slapped around for good measure.

I guess this thread name should be changed. Although I would have preferred to see the Jota, I wonder it will have some of the design elements as this car... :eusa_thin

I hate this car

Me too. And it is so very much a concept car, it has no meaning in the real world either. It's a model, maybe driveable, but definitely not useable..

Hate is maybe a strong word, but like the Reventon, I feel nothing. I badly wanted to see the Murci replacement.

Batman's new car:D

And then again, a new Batman movie could be a possibility for 2011:t-hands:

It's hard to exaggerate with words the amount of anticipation built up by the teasers -- especially when the majority of us were blindly fixed at the notion that this very car was the Merc successor. Instead it turned out to be a hotted up Gallardo with Reventon DNA.

As much as I hate the Reventon for being the most overpriced reskinning ever, this 6th sense Lambo tingle my 7th sense. My first immediate reaction to spotting the car at the show was "Hell yeah". The sheer animalism and crudeness is intriguing. It's a new was of exhibiting a car, with all the internals and structural underpinnings exposed in a fearsome way. Any illuminati/Lucifer worshipping foe would cream in ther pants at the sight of this car. The detailis on the roof such as the air breathing wents(devil's horns) and holes spelling out the number of cynlinder are genius -- not to mention the location of the exhaust pipes.

It's a shame my Lamborghini USB key couldn't unlock the evil soul of the car.
