Interesting, stealth fighter jet meets Gallardo, should be more impressive with proper photo's and in the flesh.

That is going to be really hot....hopefully the price isn't as ridiculous as the Reventon's was.

That will be hot..
But the question is what the **** is it?
Is it the murcielago replacement? looks kinda small
And a V10??

PS
FORGET 999KG..FORGET IT..no way in HELL!!!

Its a re-skinned Gallardo, just like the Reventon was to the Murcielago.

Now as to what the other car they're supposed to be showing is, I'm not sure. I don't think the Jota will be showing until Geneva in March 11'.

Earlier today we showed you the 5th teaser of the upcoming Lamborghini concept which will make its debut this week at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. We told you that we are tired of these easers, and want the real thing. It appears that someone listened to us and showed a leaked photo with the concept. Dubbed Sesto Elemento Concept (or sixth element in English), the new car is made almost exclusively from carbon fiber and has a total weight of 999 kg (2,200 pounds).

Under the hood is a powerful V10 engine that can push the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3.0 seconds while a top speed is expected to exceed 350 km/h (217 mph). And is someone says that this is not the concept that will be shown by Lamborghini at the Paris Motor Show, you should see the teasers found in the photo gallery below.
The resemblance is obvious. Regarding the design of the car, honestly to tell you this looks like a more aggressive Gallardo, rather than a new model. Perhaps this new car is built only to show future design directions but also the technology that will be used in the upcoming models

The concept does not look that appealing to me, just from the picture. I could be wrong when I see more pictures from the show. This could be the 83x they were talking about and the murcielago replacement (jota) will still be at the show.:eusa_pray

guys, its not that hard to understand. the Murcielago replacement is the car thats going around on the roads. it will be show in geneva. the Gallardo-thing is a concept car. it will be shown in paris and it looks like its CF from head to toe to signify lambo's future in lightweight cars.

basically, if the car is indeed 1000 kg with 600+ hp it will be one hell of a car! though it most likely wont be for production/sale.

Okay, after all the hype, Lamborghini can go ahead and cancel their stand at the Paris Show. This is such a disappointment. Looks like an origami (Japanese paper-folding art) version of the Gallardo.

Scott27, take note. This is how a manufacturer should NEVER go about to build hype over a model that is nothing more than a last-hurrah warmed-over of an ageing model.

Shitty marketing at it's WORST..................wait, I have a bull name for this model. How about the Lamborghini Bullshit?

The design theme is pretty much what I had figured based on the teasers and how the Reventon, so nothing terribly surprising with the angular theme. I await better quality pics to make an informed judgment.

Now what tugged at the ol' short-hairs was the 999 kg (~2200 lb) curb weight. With a V10 engine (potentially high-revving w/ DI tech) producing a sub-3 0-60 and probably AWD traction. Hell effing YEAH! If they could even get it to 2500 lbs. in production trim, it'd still be bleeding amazing. This thing would OWN the Italia and probably the MP4-12C. That weight is positively Exiga-like.

Lambo's have been historically brutal the better part of the last 2-3 decades, and for that I respect that distinctive personality. But something like this could turn respect to pure lust. If this concept is what Winkelmann was alluding to regarding Lambo's future direction, well then color me excited.

if the rumors are true, this is an exercise of carbonfiber and if its 1000 kgs, then it will be incredible.

999kg is a headline grabber and that is probably the figure for the dry weight of the car without any fluids and no interior bits and pieces. Actually, this thing looks like a track-car. Then there are the licence plate holders and other items required for a road-car. So it will probably tip the scales at around 1070kg.

Ok, so it's a Gallardo but not. Lamborghini only has two model ranges in any event, so any new derivative ought to be welcomed. But alas, we GCF-folk are a difficult bunch, when we want a Murcielago replacement - we darned well demand it! :D

I have the funny feeling that we'll not be seeing the Morth replacement at Paris. I think this and the BlankPain (A pain so severe, your mind goes blank???) are all that'll be on show.

Nonetheless, looking beyond the now passé stealth faceting of the surfaces (stealth surfacing has long moved on, Lambo chaps, from the 1980's F117...) this uber-light Gallardo is pretty special all the same and rather significant in its own right. Mass of just one metric ton? Sensational! And... a very important step for any sporting car maker in the right direction.

So, it's not what we wanted to see but it's not half bad either.
