BMW at the 2010 Paris Motor Show

Isn't that new front bumper simply the facelift version of the 3er coupe Performance bumper???

Looks good I must say.

Maybe. So far, there isn't a Performance front bumper for the E92 LCI. Would be surprising though that the Performance front bumper is just the M-Sport front bumper without foglights.

Centurion, have you seen the new X3, and the 5-series with M-pack as well? Do they look good in person? Are the MINI scooters on display? Do you find them attractive? Tell us, please.

Whatever you do, just dont blog about this.

LMAO! Dontblogaboutthis has potential to become a classic!!

Good stuff BMW Power :D:D

BTW, showing the 6er a week before the show was stupid AND smart. Stupid because of what South said, but smart because you have some sort of spotlight a week before all the major news hits....

The X3 is a major improvement to the predeccessor and will elevate the X3 name to acceptance. Yet for me, the statue remains unchanged, the X3 is not my cup of tea. I find the design the to be non-distinctive and find the X5 and X1 to have a brighter personality and more visual prowess. Although the M-Pack puts icing on the cake, the car is a bit of a bland-mobile. Mini moped are as fab IRL as they are in photos. Here are some shots I took during the press conference:

Yet their Paris presentation was far from good. Why they showed the Concept 6 series a week in advance without having another show stopper is beyond me.

Which package do you mean, the 335iS or the Performance stuff? The former is only available if you're in the US, the Performance parts are available separately (aftermarket).

Just got back from Paris now. There were two main interests for me. One was the 6 Series Concept. It was as stunning in real life as in the pictures, but also it looked huge. That's not so good.

The second interest was the M Sport package for the 5 Series. With regards that they didn't have any on display, other than a white one at the back of the Efficient Dynamics display which wasn't accessible to the public! Utterly unbelievable! You could barely see it. But what i could see looked completely underwhelming. The bodykit looked OK but the 19" wheels just do not suit the car at all.

Must agree. The M-Package gives the 5 series some attractive additional sporting flair. But it screams for the OEM 20" rim offerings or perhaps 20" Alpina Classics. 19" rims seem to appear a bit lost on the M-Package car. Odd, since they look great on the non M-pack 5er.

Guys, I remember we were promised for a fully working 6series GC concept (with interior) rather than the lazyass clay model we saw earlier, what happened to that ?

You've just answered my earlier question then. Hence why no 5er M Sport pics anywhere.

So glad I didn't go to the show, with that and 1M no show it would have been very disappointing with only the X3 M Sport being of any interest to me.

Thanks for that.
