yes but isn't that too obvious?
I'd hate to see Hamilton win the championship. I think that any driver needs to endure several seasons of crap to be worthy of the title.

@ Mike J: Were you being serious in your post? Hamilton (the best driver this year) shouldnt win it because he hasnt endured many 'years of crap'??
On another note, its funny how people talk about pressure getting to Lewis (which is becos he's expected to win it anyway) but what about Felipe? Where's the driver who was blowing away his team mate by up to 7/10ths in quali with similar fuel? I was suprised to see Massa actually pit before Kimi in the race. Even in Japan he was outqualified by Kimi and HAmi. Not sure the last time i saw a great Massa performance. Though he does lead well from the front..![]()
I think he is refering to the fact that Hamilton had all done since he was 8 and signed a contract with McLaren. Another pilots, with the same level, started at Minardi, at Benetton, and more recently at Toro Rosso.
lol. OK. So he shouldn't win the title in that case? C'mon skysony i know u dont really think that
He is going to win the title, because he is an excellent pilot and has the best car of this season. But would Hamilton do with a Renault? That is what he is saying I think.
But of course Hamilton has an impressive talent, nobaody (incluiding me) is puting that in doubt.

I was being fully serious. I'd much rather see Massa take the title this year. There's no doubt that Hamilton is a great driver (whether he's the best is debatable), but I feel that everything has come too easily for him. I don't think he's quite the miracle man the media hype wants us to believe - he's just enjoyed both good management (and good luck) more than most of the drivers. He definitely deserves to win the title at some point, but not quite yet.
what penalty to give to hamilton this time? haha

Yes i agree with you. But in the same vein would Massa do the same with a renault? Its not like everything has been smooth for Hamilton this season (if it was he would already be champion by now). But you make the best of what you have. Kova has the same car and is only..... 7th in the standings
OK buddy. But out of curiousity im wondering if Massa has 'bad' management and evil luck (which would be suprising considering all the err...assisFIAtance he's got this season)![]()
Not 'bad' per se, but I feel Hamilton has been managed differently from other drivers, more like a media figure than a racing driver in the traditional sense. It's like he's Lewis Hamilton - A Nice Guy™.![]()
Massa:
"The final part was the best one for me and I caught Kimi and passed him so that was the good part of the race, but it was not enough because we are fighting with McLarens and today one was in front but at least we finished second and third," he went on. "For the drivers' championship it wasn't fantastic but for the constructors' championship it was very good."
Is he trying to say that he really 'caught' kimi instead of kimi slowing to let him pass?
