I have just bought my first Mercedes Benz E220 CDI 2008 which has 140k, solid history of Mercedes specialists and only 2 owners with the last owner having the car for about eleven years.
My first port of call is a valet and a Android system much like what you have done.
I also have to get the tail gate rubber seal replaced as there is some damp in the spare wheel compartment floor, and the rubber seal looks a little ripped in quite a few places seems like this is a common issue for these.
Does anybody know if it is a big job to replace these rubber seals yourself?
And am wondering if anybody has any advice on what the best preventative maintenance work would be. Its had the boot lock recently replaced by Mercedes, 2 x new rear airbags and rear brake pipes etc replaced by a specialist so am feeling quite lucky not having to worry about the dreaded airbags for quite a while yet.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
