F1 2008 Australian Grand Prix

so u think Kimi was sleeping behind the wheel? he was obviously in a much heavier car, and soft tyres=more attention needed about the tyres.

as for Alonso, altho i have never been a fan of his, i've always ranked him behind MS, in recent years. when MS retired, i rated him the best, most complete driver in the field, even better than Kimi. but Kimi proved that he's up there with the best with his 2nd half performance.

but what i can't stand about Alonso is his behaviour of blaming everybody except himself when something goes wrong.

but u callin Kimi stupid? thats gotta be the stupidiest comment i've read.

Several great WDCs were whinny, little bitches when things didn't go their way. Schumacher wasn't a nice guy until he started winning everything with Ferrari. When he was less competitive, he reverted to some of his old tricks (i.e. the penalty for blocking the track at Monaco).

This behavior is not exclusive to Alonso. Next time some rips Alonso, I'd expect someone to tell us to have some respect for a WDC.

I'm calling Kimi's driving in that race stupid, not that it makes a difference to you.

Tyco, so BMW were sandbagging pre season?

They didn't, the thing is BMW is always focusing on the real stuff and doesn't run Empty car cars just to impress peoples like many others do, they only did quali simulaion once in valencia but didn't pass the times that's why german press said they were sandbagging. Concerning the car it self, it was supposed to be fast out of the box but unfortunately it wasn't, it suffered from heavy problems cause it was instable and unblanced and that was to related to both mecanical and aero side, they resolved mechanical problems quickly but not the aero ones cause there wasn't one or two big flaws but many little interdependant problems moreover they figured out than some of their simu programs related to both wind tunnel & super computer provided wrong data, that's why it will take time before they fully use the potential of the car and one last thing, the car's aero is super complex and then it's super sensitive to wind and hard to setup.

Noone confirmed it and i don't believe it.

As i've said, it's a 1st race. Let's see if they can continue like this next 3-4 races. If so, then something definitely happened, since all test reports and interviews with Robert and Nick weren't promising.

Btw, Remy, are you going to see Malaysian GP?

:t-cheers:

i wish man.. :( been to every race between 2002-2006, but missed last year, and will miss this year. i'm planning to go for Grandstand tix next yr

no one said Schumi's a saint. besides Jerez, and Monaco, Schumi didn't go around bitchin about his own team.
