Yea, SAAB uses a fighter in their ads, but I don't think they actually made a car look like one.

As a side note, that ad is kind of misleading too, the SAAB that makes the car and the one that makes the fighter are two different companies now.

I would never go for the Batmobile and the Veyron is one of the cars I like the least, ever. I would go for the Aston!

Oh wow...Really? Is it the look or you just don't like all the power that comes with it??

For me, the power and the magnificent ability of the Veyron makes it the perfect car.

The whole thaught behind it is dead wrong; going by my preferences, they should have made it 500 hp weaker and 1,000 kgs lighter, RWD and manual (, and beautiful) then Bugatti could have gotten some sort of credit.

Now, the car is just sickening, "let's make a New Beetle on steroids"...
 
Its intresting to see HoH getting surprised when someone doesnt feel like him about the Veyron. Veyron is a cool car but it doesnt make my pants wet (so to speak) ;)

Why is it that every (well at least a good amount) of BMW fans want the Veyron to be a McLaren part 2?

To take away 500hp away would make it another basic and average Supercar. Judging from the countless races it has been in weight hasn't even been a issue. The Bugatti has always come out a winner even against a Jet until it got airborne. As far as looks, the Bugatti looks great in my eyes far better looking then the "plain jane" McLaren looks. The Aston Martin is interesting looking, but it's far from being beautiful like the Vanquish.

And where did the Beetle idea come from? If this car was made by BMW and had the same looks the Beetle probably wouldn't even be mentioned. It's bubble like look makes it stand out in my opinion and it's stance is extremely powerful.

Well I guess it's your opinion, so I can respect that. On the other hand, the Bugatti can do no wrong in my opinion.

That is because the Bugatti is The "Real" Ultimate Driving Machine!

Because that is what a proper car is all about?

I have never thaugt of the Veyron as some pt 2 of one of the best cars ever, the people at Bugatti can't, obviously, have had any such ambitions.

I don't want the Bugatti to "become" an MF1 (I don't think anyone else wants that either) but the MF1, to me, is a so much better concept - that, on the other hand, I do think that many will agree upon. Every car shold be built with that in mind :D

Exactly what I was talking about! It depends on your perception. If your judging the car about it's price just means that your not judging it on it's capabilities. A car turning a corner doesn't make it "ultimate". When no car on earth and not even a jet while on land can beat it..then we can call it the Ultimate driving machine.
 
The Bug is far from being the Ultimate Driving Machine. It is very far from being as involving to drive as McLaren F1, Zonda, CGT and co.

Faster, undoubtedly; but certainly not half the driver's car they are.

It's more like a big SLR: super-fast, comfy, easy. Impressive how easy 400km/h are in it, surprising how unseable it is given the outlandish power. But if you want the ultimate driving excitement with it, you're wrong with a Bug.

It's not the car you're sweating around the Nurb with. Therefore, it's not the ultimate driving machine.
 
Well it all depends on the person driving the car. There are some people who believe a car must be manual and turn corners fast to be considered a "drivers car". I personally don't believe that is the case at all, so IMO the Bugatti is still the Ultimate Driving Car on earth. Then again it depends on what platform you use. If you believe a track is the only way of testing a cars ability, then yes another car maybe your choice. On the other hand if someone races more on highways or straight line then they may choose another vehicle.

So if you all believe the F1 is the best car, then that is your opinion. I personally feel that no car on earth can touch the Bugatti Veyron.
 
For me a 350K house...a SL63 AMG, M3 and a XFR. The rest straight to pocket.
