Accord '08 Honda Accord exposed

Looks something like a sawed-off 5er. It's hard not to call this design derivative, but at least it's being done in a rather tight Honda-ish fasion. The rear is nice, the front's snubby grille is a problem. There's so much sinew in the back, and so much staccato up front. Despite its flaws, it's another winner that will really put the heat on the Camry and sets the bar up higher in this class. The outgoing Accord sedan is completely anemic in styling and still sells like flapjacks.

Am I the only one who thinks the sedan looks and feels like it has the solidity of a tin can from the pictures? I don't know why I get that impression - is it the shape?

The new pedestrian-friendly bumpers don't help things much.

Can't wait to see interior shots. Don't think I'll be clamoring to dump my Accord, but I think Honda's got something good up its sleeve. Of course, it won't be hard to one-up the Camry - that thing has a straight-up lousy interior.

No - I some what agree, but then I would say that about most vehicles on the market.
