Zo6 - a Supercar?

Big no!!

*It lacks the quality of a super car
*It doesn't have the drop dead gorgeous and head turning looks
*I have to admit that it is one hell of a performer but the performance isn't top notch.
*Lastly the car just isn't exclusive.

I will be suprised if someone even votes yes in this poll.

Not even 997TT, Gallardo or F430 are supercars. To my eyes, Enzo, CGT, Zonda, Mclaren are typical supercars.

A supercar costs at least €500,000 in my book.

And the interior of a supercar isn't made of old coca cola bottles in my book either.

C6 Z06
F430
997 Turbo
Gallardo


And then

Exotics:

Zonda F
Carrera GT
Enzo
LP640

I would call it a supercar but not an Exotic.

I see it as an entry level supercar.
Performance is fantastic.
@ss kicker of Ferrari/Porsche/Lamborghini and so on.

yep entry level..but its one hell of a car..so its a supercar if you have the same view on supercars as 7.3..
but if super cars are to you what exotics are to him..well then NO

No, definately not, I agree with other punks, and Z06 is cheap, considering supercar's price, it's pretty massive-production car...no!

Absolutely not. A supercar has to be a separate model of its own, a performance version of something that is not a supercar simply does not cut it. It should also be mid-engined if possible and preferably Italian.

Couldn't we ask the same question of just about any car in its league?

A supercar to me is a car with performance which is in a league of its own. The car should almost be invincible just like the CGT, Zonda, Enzo and Veyron. The Z06 is one hell of a performer but there are still cars like the 911, F430 and Gallardo which not only have similar performance but also look much better then the Vette.
The Z06 is like the 911, a sports car with near super sports car performance.

I gotta say people always consider the Ford GT a supercar and it always goes against the high end stuff(CGT,Murc,Zonda,SLR)when it gets compared. Well recently the GT always gets compared to the ZO6 and SRT-10 Coupe so I was just wondering what you guys think. Many people say no yet there are more votes for yes than no. I whould call it a supercar but like 7.3 said not an exotic I totally agree with that. Osna is right, there is a huge obsession about talking of an american car on a german car forum, something very tragic is going on here and we all need major counciling.

I think the Z06 deserves praise. Its so cheap, fast and good looking and puts Europeans to shame. Its not an obsession because this car is out of every other cars league that gets pinned against it.

Yes it is. Its not rare or special or good quaility but it performs and looks like a super car which is good enough for me.

Thats the thing though it's so cheap in North America(I dno Mexico). But in Europe it goes for 120-200k(euro) and that will keep many europeans away and turn towards ferrari,lambo and porsche, especially because of the cars "rusty" interior.
