I had the opportunity to drive Z06 one time, it really is a excellent machine. I only had one complaint and it was the gearbox, not as easy and smooth like many other gearboxes.

Wow very impressive for the GT2. Can't wait to see how it does against the ZR1. Also looking forward to see perhaps a ZO6 against a 997 GT3 MK2.
I don't think it will stand a chance against the ZR1.

I think you might be right. At high altitudes, like way above 1000 feet, like in some places at the N-Ring the turbo's can do magic and then the GT2 might have a chance. Both the GT-R and GT2 have had their best acceleration and quarter mile times at way above 1000 feet of sea level.I don't think it will stand a chance against the ZR1.

It's not just the engine my friend, the ZR1 has many other tweaks as well. The engine alone didn't bring it to the lap time it has gotten on the ring.

My guess is that it is quite possible to see 7:27-7:32 times.

ZR1 first time: 7:22.6
Viper ACR first time: 7:22.1
ZR1 second time: 7:22.4
Viper doesn't have a second run.
