Zenvo Zenvo Aurora

Zenvo Automotive A/S is a Danish supercar manufacturer located in Præstø on the Danish Island of Zealand. Co-founded in 2007 by Jesper Jensen and Troels Vollertsen, it is known for producing hand-built, high-performance supercars. Their facility in Præstø is where they hand-build each car, with a limited production of only a few vehicles per year. Official website: Zenvo Automotive A/S
CCO is not top of the pile. CEO Angela Hartmen is, she's Jens boss. She was previously known as Anzhela Kashina, what is interesting about Zenvo is it's ownership, Angela formally Anzhela was appointed CEO by its Russian owner Valery Abromov, he passed ownership onto his sons after he was sanctioned, ownership passed from his sons to Julia Mirontsova, and now it's owned by another Russian Vladimir Ivanov. It all appears rather dodgy.

That's not answering my question, I will be very surprised if this tiny company will come up with any groundbreaking earth shattering technology that we haven't seen yet. Quad turbo V12 already been done, HEV powertrain now (almost) an industry wide standard, carbon chassis who is building supercars without one, this is a me too copy past car. The only thing interesting about the company is it's dodgy ownership.

How much OEM is in a Bugatti? Because if I told you what they actually production manufacture in Molshiem you'd be shocked. Just saying every car manufacturer on the planet does some more some less.

Bugatti are launching a naturally aspirated V-XX hybrid next year with probably DCT? So what? Ferrari did an age ago.

And I can garuntee you one thing NOBODY will say it's got an English transmission or engine or both? So, yeah, period.

You wouldn’t be telling me anything I didn’t already know.

Good, then give Zenvo Automotive a break.

There's nothing they are doing differently and have to go same pre production processes as anyone else.

And by the way you wouldn't be telling me anything either and definitely not about Bugatti.

Regardless I'm sure this conversation has been had elsewhere. It's done either way here.

No wrong or right place solely chosen on the first picture. Looks like a good round up, except Pininfarina didn't make the thumbnail? Interesting.

Does he have a beef with them?

Zenvo hints at 'junior' hypercar with V6 or V8 power!

Danish hypercar maker says it has customers for cars with smaller engines derived from new V12 Aurora

Zenvo could consider building a “junior hypercar” based on the new ZM1 monocoque used by the newly revealed V12 Aurora.

The Danish brand's chief commercial officer, Jens Sverdrup, told Autocar the platform is “fully” modular, implying that components used on the 1850bhp Aurora – revealed last week at Monterey Car Week as a 280mph successor to the ST1 and TSR – could be swapped for a less exotic material in order to cut costs.

These interchangeable components could include the Aurora's carbonfibre subframes.

“Theoretically, we could build an off-road vehicle like a hyper-SUV, but only theoretically: I don’t think that will happen,” Sverdrup said, hinting at the platform’s flexibility.

The mammoth 6.6-litre quad-turbocharged V12 engine in the Aurora has been designed to be as configurable as possible, said Sverdrup, raising the possibility of it being downsized into V6 and V8 formats. Their displacements would presumably scale linearly, giving displacements of 3.3 litres and 4.4 litres respectively.

“We have some customers for V6s and V8s derived from this car, that we might use in the future, if we want to do a junior hypercar, for example.”

However, the likelihood that development of a new model will begin “all depends on the demand from customers”.

Sverdrup said Zenvo’s Præstø facility could support production of 25 Auroras annually – which would complete the hypercar’s 100-unit run in four years – but that “some tweaks” would be needed to boost it further.

For example, he identified the lack of paint booths as a “bottleneck” and noted that 1000 man hours were needed to paint a single car.

The firm does intend to build a new plant with greater capacity “at some stage”, but it will take “a few” years before such work can begin."

🤔

Well that Junior car is really not for Tomorrow that for sure!

Aurora first them little V8 Hupercar for 2028 at the best!

Yes maybe circa 1400KG 700hp at the wheels carbon fiber monocoque architecture construction etc. - Wait a minute, that's sounds familiar?

Maybe Pininfarina can redesign the bodywork with some sexy magic and then call it the Zenvo Voltron!🤣

Now THIS is definitely getting watched!

The heart of all Aurora models is the 6.6-litre quad-turbocharged V12 engine, developed by MAHLE Powertrain. Producing 1,250 bhp and revving to 9,800rpm, this bespoke powerplant is a 90-degree hot-V configuration, mid-mounted behind the cockpit. It is then enhanced further by a lightweight triple electric motor system, generating an extra 600bhp. The resulting 1,850bhp seamlessly blends instant power and torque, delivering naturally aspirated engine-style throttle response, and make this powertrain the most powerful V12 engine ever fitted to a road car.

Turbos above engine? Not the best place.
