A4/S4/RS4 Your choice? Audi RS4 B7 VS Audi S8 V10

This should be interesting.
I plan to own my Q5 3.2 for about one more year. My father said he wants to buy the car from me in about then, cause he loves it so much.
My next car would be one of the two Im gonna start this poll about. It will defenitely be one of these two. Two cars that has got such a huge love all over the world, even from BMW and Benz fans. It brings out love of pretty much everybody. They are for sure the two most admirable Audis ever build.

I'm talking about the:

AUDI RS4 B7 Sedan


and the..

AUDI S8 V10

Two amazing cars. In terms of design, engines, handling, prestige, quality.. Everything. The Audis that had it all.
My simple question is: Which one would you like to own, and why?

Cause I share my love so much for both of them, Im not sure which one it's going to be

I would go for the RS4 but make sure you scrutinize the car before you buy it. The B7 RS4's seem to be plagued with carbon build up in the long run.

Tough call. Both are brilliant machines & both are among my most favorite cars ever. I'd take S8, as I like big performance sedans AKA sleeper!

Can't imagine why... One is altogether unremarkable (it's neither a cosseting luxo barge or a decent sporting saloon) whilst the other is simply unforgettable as the best sporting saloon of its time.

It is probably the best and most unique luxury liner in the world... my all time favorite luxury car...

The S8 was not special in any way. It was a nice car at most, that gets love from Audi fanboys like you. Not from the general petrol head community so to speak.
The RS4 however, besides it's fantastic looks, set all kinds of new standards, and was just highly special in having crazy speed, awesome handling, comfort, and traction at all times. Not to mention it's engine, which was something special back in the day. So special it's good enough for Audi to still use it in the R8 without much modifications if any if I'm right.

The vote suggested otherwise and that the community is divided between the two, not that they drive similarly or anything, just as one is more focus whilst the other is an around brilliant car to own and drive. You talk fondly about the 4.2FSI (for the first time I'm sure) but the 5.2FSI started life in a Lambo how more special can it get and when combined with an interior that it's rival still can't compete with years later suggests to me the S8 is also quite special but for very different reasons.

I would be happy with either but on reflection would prefer the S8 as something to live with for a very long time.

That's completely besides the point I was making, but whatever. I meant in this thread, Tumbo. I am well aware that BMW fanboys outnumber Audi fanboys 10 to 1 on this forum.

You mean just the S8 V10 overall? Cause the only facelift the S8 D3 got, was minor tweaks like the front fog lights, rear lights etc.
