Photography Your Best Photography

Re: Some of my favorites...

Thanks Mirage77, AlxAmg, and notic for you generous and encouraging comments :)

dOmInIX, your photographs are very beautiful.

NevadaJack, you have more than done your fair share for tourism in the state of Nevada .....after seeing your photographs over the past months, I have become intrigued and entranced by the beauty of the place ...it is a very fascinating landscape.

BMWFREAK, your icy landscape photograph is very moody ....it looks freezing there.

...and to everybody, the calibre of the photographs being posted is very high -- what an interesting and artistic group of people we have on our forum.

Keep posting :usa7uh:

You have a very good eye Roberto and should continue to pursue photography in the future. A touch of the artistic is rare and should be developed.

Agree that there are some great images posted by us car lovers...

New lens test for my Canon...

Took these this morning with a new lens for the Canon 20D. I think I will keep it...good results...:D

Fantastic images all...:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Some of the work here is really first rate and many good eyes. Some are quality "snapshots" and others are pro-level and others are arty. But they all are well done and show enthusiasm. For someone who started with a Box Brownie 116 many years ago, todays photography has reached new heights of quality and perfection. Enjoy it guys....if not for just the memories later on in life...:usa7uh:

I too share the some view that we have a very good group of talented photographers here. I really commend all of you and am happy to see my good friends share their talent here.

Notic your pics are probably by far the most professional... Very talented.
Im going to be uploading some new ones pretty soon....

Not too much water activity in the Las Vegas area but Lake Mead always provides ducks and boating. These were shot Saturday...the Wave Runner's are rentals.

Since we are posting images taken many years ago...this is certainly my oldest and the most important person I have photographed. This was taken on October 26, 1956 (50 years ago) in the Persian Gulf. Regardless of the political and social changes since then, this is still a treasured image to me. I was 24 and a Photographers Mate 1st Class, USN, aboard the Flagship for the Middle East Forces in the Gulf. The Shah was a guest aboard with the Admiral for some joint exercises with the Iranian Navy. The print has stayed very stable through the years.

Thanks Notic...shot with a 4x5 Speed Graphic and flash fill (bulbs).

I took a long look at your galleries and you are a very talented photographer. I have a great deal of technical knowledge of photography but my "eye" has never been in much of a creative mode. I have a friend in NC who covered President's Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon as a personal photographer (motion picture and still.) He had an "eye" and sends me a mounted image every year from his shoots since his retirement. A creative eye is a gift so make sure you pursue it.
