Is that a general question? 'cus the Toyota Crowns in the post before yours are in Hong Kong, which is very much not Japan.

the photos are all taken in Hong Kong. The majority of taxes are still 30 year old Toyota Crowns.

I suppose the taxi drviers are holding onto them due to the spaciousness, comfort and relative simpliciity to drive and service them.
