Do take note that the odd composition and noise are purposeful.

So, the first photos with my new Nikon D60!! Love this camera - just after 10 shots or so…great handling and perfect for my hands… A lot of photos will follow - and best think: I have this camera with me, when the new W212 will be at the dealers… :D

The first Makro shot - my Jeans:

This one is stunning - would never caught this effect with my old Fujfilm. Especially because the diaphragm of the camera was way to slow to get a near clear photo without the flash…

And just a little random shot…:

With some time and practice - I definitely think, that the result become even better…

I've been really getting into bird photography recently. It's quite a challenge since they're very difficult to follow and the lighting conditions are often not ideal. I ended up using shutter speeds as high as 1/1600s / 1/2000s and ISO 640 - 800. No problem with the Nikon D90. Try doing that with a Nikon D40! :D

I gave this one a slight smart blur treatment in photoshop. Just felt like the right thing to do for this one...

Superb stuff Christian! You not only have an "eye" you also have the technical ability to process your images so well. The only comment I have is the first image birds are too dark. There is a lack of contrast to see the bright colors of the ducks (look like Mallards.)

I enjoy most everything you shoot...
