I remember back in the mid-1990s and early-2000s when Mercedes’ was being criticized for cheap interiors; and what they are building and coming out with now ist just insane. Superb quality interiors with style and innovation.

That also goes for Audi and BMW. The new A6 and A8 have interiors which just blow you away with their style and quality. The lower models are bound to follow that trend. BMW is a little conservative with their interior designs, but the quality is definitely there.

Just makes me proud to be a German right now! Haha

Quite possible, in fact...

One issue beside the trade/tariff affair is that of the EUs' (and Germanys') positioning towards Iran. Some extremely poorly contemplated comments from Germanys' foreign minister leaves the country cruising for a bruising (by the Trump administration). Like it or not, the EUs' postering towards Iran leaves it highly susceptible to Monsieur l'Oranges' wrath.

Truthfully, though, the German car industry still makes excellent diesels. My problem with the emission laws is that they are often unrealistic. But that’s what you get when you have unqualified amateurs making decisions in Brussels. Their most recent blunder was forcing GDPR on us. As a small business and website owner I am literally a criminal according to GDPR.

UPDATE!

Received an email from Mercedes-Benz today; my car will be ready in the 1st or 2nd week of November. That was the first contact regarding the car’s delivery. They will contact me against for a more precise date.

Next week I am going to order the Rial M10 “AMG lookalike” winter wheels and tires.
