***wimmer bmw ??? Spy shots!!!!!!!***

Possibly V12 engine testing? I wonder if it will be named 760Li or 765Li. I prefer just the normal 760Li.

^ Me too. It'll be 760Li I think. There's no need to call it 765i....765i looks extremely weird somehow :eusa_thin:t-crazy2:

Great job, Mr. Wimmer.

Thanks. :t-cheers:

Why cover roundels? So people don't know its a BMW? :D I guess the grill does not tell anything. ;)

It's some kind of testcar. The 7er has already been publicly presented but I don't think it has been released yet. So BMW still has time to test some new versions. I've seen a new 7-Series testcar with quadruple exhausts twice already and I am almost positive that that is some sort of V12 or M version! :eusa_danc

The car you talk about is 760 Li. An V12 Twin Turbo with 544 hp.

That depends ;) The 7er with square quad pipes is the V12, the one with round quad pipes is the Alpina V8 TT :)

This one . World Debut at Shanghai Motor Show May 2009.

Is this already confirmed though? I thought the new 7er was going to have no V12 option?
Cofirmed as in Official? No.
Confirmed as in "it's coming"? Yes.

There are some pics of the Alpina version on this board, 2 oval pipes on each side and an "OAL" plate gives it away. EDIT: E38_E30 found the pics I was meaning.

Best regards, south

The car is already released, I wonder why they are still testing it with the body suit on.. are these old pictures?
