A6/S6/RS6 Who said that the S6 is boring?

I think the major disappointment about the S6 is that its using a detuned S8 engine - it just feels a little shortchanged to take an engine, and then reduce the power and call it an S-car. Granted, it's a Lamborghini engine, and a high-revver as well, but you can't help but feel it's better off having the full 450bhp of its 8 brother.

Also, this car brings nothing new to the table. Okay, it's a car with a big engine. Been there done that in the E63. It's it very sporty? Not as much as the M5.

I wouldn't say the S6 was boring, nor would I say it was exciting! It's very understated, and some people like that!

Bring on the RS6, that's what I say!

I have seen the new S6 just twice - once, it was next to a S8 and the S8 blew me away and the S6 left me very underwhelmed. The other time, I mis took it for a normal A6 till I saw the side mirrors.

If you like "normal" A6's you will like the S6 but if you dont like the A6 at all, you wont feel much for the S6 either.

I don't like the "normal" A6! But the S6 looks great - I think it's because of the LED day-running lights and the different body-kit! Nevertheless, the E 63 and all other Benzes and BMWs look better then an Audi!!

But does this mean anything? Arguing on the brands themselves are meaningless. Just have to say, Audi is cool. BMW is radical but not always sucessful. I like 5-series, but 7-series is not too preferrable. MB doesn't make much sense in designing the new C and S. Especially for S. Its horrible!

Imo, the Audi S6 "C6" is one of the most udnerestimated cars ever.

World Car of the Year 2005 (ok, wasn't the S6) is nowhere near to be one of the most underestimated car ever.

A V10 powered sedan can never be boring.
