It will be interesting to see how these “segmented” style rear lights look in person. For the longest time we’ve been going towards the “seamless” lighting designs so this is an interesting choice.

Sorry for all the quote marks, I don’t know the real terms for these types of lights.

Very disappointed if that is the from bumper design. I love the direction MB went with the GLC fuel cell. This doesn't even look like a face lift.

I'm very much OK with light facelift/refresh. If you design the car right the first time around, you don't need a major and expensive facelift/refresh, which IMO should be used for addressing any quality issues that have arisen since the model introduction, new colors and trims, and updated electronics/new features. BMW has gotten away with this for years and their sales haven't suffered because of it (maybe other things, though).

I agree completely. Fix the issues and add more things, in this case new I6 engines. Interior colors, options, new models, more performance, better ride/handling etc. Mercedes never used to do big facelifts, but when they did it was a clear sign that the original design was goofed. Like the W212 E-Class and the current SL.

One humble request to MB designers. Stop designing C classes as mini S classes. The current version is the worst externally. Just too soft and bulbous for this design language on the much smaller dimensions. And the classic grille is out of proportion. After 190E no C class is really a good looking car compared to the rivals in this class IMO.

I wonder if that new bumper is for the Avantgarde trim or the new AMG line bumper, it looks too sharp and too aggressive for the rest of the car.

One humble request to MB designers. Stop designing C classes as mini S classes. The current version is the worst externally. The current cars' W204 predecessor is my favorite C-Class series to date. They still look remarkably fresh. And are among the most durable M-Bs' ever. A car that should be on the shortlist for those searching for a used executive segment automobile.

We have a W205 at home and I think it's a superb car...I have owner W203 and W204 and I find the W205 the best car to ride it's super smooth and so effortless also I think it handles well ..Yes it's not maybe a 3 series but I don't think that's what MB wants with a standard C class..

In my opinion the W205 is a lovely car and I think they look very attractive the car is about 3 and half years old but when you see them on the road they still look very fresh I think the design will age very well..

Yes the W204 was a lovely car especially the C63 I had but I think the W205 is a much smoother and refined Mercedes..

I didn't think they would but it could be possible considering how little camouflage they're wearing now. The new G, AMG GT 4-door and C-Class at Detroit? Sounds like too much. Something will have to be saved for Geneva 2 months after that.

It would be quite a thing if they repeat the same treatment on the new S-Class Coupe facelift. Make the former AMG Line bumper the standard bumper and come up with something close to E-Class and S-Class facelift for the new AMG Line version.

Interesting, so they have gone for the full reflector style LED headlights, I assume this is the updated version of the "High Performance LED headlights" with some multi beam function rather than the full Intelligent or Multibeam LED headlights.

That's interesting. The eyes of a car are too important to cost cut. The current halogen lights give the cars and empty look. This is a little better, but not much.

Standard Halogens have also been criticized as being poor as far as visibility. I have the full multibeam LEDs on my C43 and they are awesome
