Like the way you think. My "realistic" 3 car garage for cars available here...
1) 982 GT4 PDK - it's no 991.2 GT3 but it's very good in its own right
2) New Land Rover Defender - get out and go places
3) BMW 330d - daily driver*
* I'd prefer a refreshed Model 3 as a daily but they're not available - or viable - down here. Also would love a Taycan S but they're insanely priced.
The GT4 would very much up there in swooping in the GT3's spot. But that flat-six in the GT3 just has that higher pitch at full anger that grabs me by the short and curlies whenever I hear it....on youtube vids. Plus, I have that irrational bucket-list desire to at least possess an icon like the 911. Something about a flat-six hanging off the end providing such unique proposition. These days I don't really have an allegiance to a brand, but that love/admiration for the 911 is still there. I imagine if by some luck I come into possession to a GT3 PDK, it'd be a car I'd hold on to a very long time.
These new and updated boxy SUV's definitely have my attention. The G-wagen is lovely but too damn expensive. And the new Landie has definitely won me over as well, it's very well thought out with go-anywhere capabilities. But I'd be so paranoid mucking them up as they are pricy. The new Bronco, while not cheap either, just looks so spot-on and capable with the right amount and right kind of amenities. While not exactly ideal for coastal drives on a sunny day, those removable doors and roof panels could provide for open-tip driving. Plus, if ever I want to engage in any Zoolander cosplay, that just makes it all the more easier.
The Model 3...the first electric car that has me thinking that I could live with an electric car. I imagine the electric car would be the daily-driver and the gas-guzzlers in the fleet as more of weekend toys, that I could have my cake and eat it too.
"Realistic" 3-car garage ? Cool.
Mine would be:
1.) VW ID 4 1st Max
2.) 987 Porsche Cayman S
3.) Peugeot e-208
The ID3 and ID4 have me intrigued. I like the fact that they are more accessible and not about ludicrous speed. For a daily, I don't need to white-knuckle it all the time, just something reliable and decent amount of range...ideally, with current battery tech, over 250 miles of range would suffice. Now, I know the Honda e doesn't have that, but looking at it, it's something I
want. Akin to the Pug e-208, there's just something endearing and, yes, cute. Paint it yellow, and it's like your very own Pokemon.

Ideally, if the Honda e was more Civic hatch-sized with 250 to 300 miles of range, I'd think it'd be perfect.
1) TESLA Model Y (made in Germany)
2) Alfa Spider (from the 1960s)
3) BMW E30 M3 EVO
Can't go wrong with those classics.
While the Model 3 is the first electric car that I think I could live with, the Model Y's added space makes it the better of the two.
I think my 3-car garage would be as it was on the last page, except I think I'd change the B3 for a B5 now the LCI is out.
Alpina B5 Touring
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG003S
BMW M2 CS*
* The M2 is the one in jeopardy. The B5 would be for road trips, the SCG003S would be fun, track days and for showing off, but what I'd like is something a bit sporty that makes more sense around town. The M2 might be about the right size, if a little big, but something more relaxed and comfortable might be preferential. I genuinely can't think of anything desirable that fits the bill. I could be persuaded into something like an i3s to fulfil the obligatory EV position, and perhaps to do a bit of AutoX in, but I also find myself leaning towards just some old beater with soft ride that won't suffer for a few bumps and scrapes in a multi-story car park, and doesn't smash my teeth out going over the terrible local roads. Are there any genuinely premium, genuinely comfortable, genuinely small cars about these days?
I love how the SCG003 looks. Like a space-ship for the road. A cliche, I know, but that instance where it lives up to that. Very impressed with what Glickenhaus and his team have been doing. (Though I haven't kept track of their development since the 007's announcement.)
M2 CS...it's such an under-rated car. So much so I do forget about it. But when reminded, it's such a good car.
