I can't seem to be able to download any like this.
Anyone know of another place that has it?

It looks like there are bits & pieces of this episode on YouTube...but, the only way I know of, right now, to get the whole episode is with torrents.

Downloaded it and watched it, I thought it was just ok...what do you guys think?

Could you please list up the cars they drove? , (cause I wouldn't be able to download the clip before 3-4 weeks) :eusa_doh:
Thanks :usa7uh:

They only drove the Jaguar XKR against the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
They spent quite a bit of the episode trying to do roadworks and, of course, going over Hammond's accident (which they showed too). Overall, a decent episode.

And for the next episode ? :D Sorry... :eusa_thin

well MikeJ said it, XK R vs AM Vantage and thats it, they leave Hammond's crash till the very end, otherwise there's not much to see unless you want to watch topgear presenters doing road work!

It is also available on Merctech although you may need to sign up. If you are having issues downloading from Mini or Meganova you may need to change your torrent client to something like utorrent as those sites don't like bitcomet and some of the other ones. I download an absolute ton of stuff every day from lots of sites and have used a few clients and Utorrent is the best I have used.:t-cheers:

Here is the test between the Jag vs the AM. That's all I've seen so far

Really like the new Jag. What do you guys think? Went to the website, a bit below $90k. Any other cars that you like in this price range?

Just finished watching the episode. Not the best episode, but alright..

"Adolf Hammond"

:t-rot: :D

Not a fan of the new XKR.

I'd probably go with a 997 Carrera S (or maybe a 650Ci)

Yea maybe a 650i or a 911S, but still, neither of those two have the same exotic qualities as the Jag. It just looks and sounds a bit more special I guess, and I'm sure they aren't as common. It's funny because I thought the car looked real weird before.

Re: Top Gear Season 9, Episode 1

i watched it a few days ago.. allthough there wasent any cool test..
the episode was one of the best ever..
gr8 humor..
and superb to see Hammond again...

Not exactly the best episode ever, but not their worst, either...I enjoyed it, though.

Not a huge fan of the current XK...the headlights look like they belong on a Taurus. I much prefer the V8 Vantage.

Karma Ree Karma! :t-cheers:

Finally the guys are back.. I hope they will visit Norway again (WinterOlympics) :D

The sound of the Jag and V8 Vantage Is really great!

And last ..

TopGear please test:
LP640 Roadster
TT
R8
A5
RS6 vs E63 AMG & M5
CL63 AMG

++ I hope they Do..

I could hardly call the Jag exotic. I like its design but you've gotta admit, that engine's pretty ancient and I don't like to see old-tech in my car. I agree with you though, it'll be a rarer sight for sure. But as a complete package the Porsche or BMW would do better.

I agree James. I really don't see the Jaguar as anything exotic, nor do I see it having any real advantages over a 911S or a 650i. Jaguar constantly goes on and on about how light the XKR is, especially with it's aluminum body shell. I hate to break the party boys..but the XKR isn't all that light. Measured weight is 1775kg, which isn't bad for a GT..but the 650i with the apparent disadvantage of a steel body shell weighs 1726kg.
