The Pointless Car Thread! (Cars you just don't understand).

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the R Class!!! It's not a bad car by any means, but its just a waste of time (development wise) and rather pointless when the same could have been achieved with either the ML or the GL (not sure if theres an option for 7 seats).

I was going to mention the R class, but i have seen a lot more of them on the roads in the past few weeks so that changed my mind. There are families out there who wants to buy a car like the R Class. MB didn't waste that much time developing it because it is pretty much based on the ML/GL platform.

It was a tough decision but i picked the PT Cruizer/bucket on wheels because a convertible is suppose to look good...the PT Cruizer looks like a bucket of sh*t

^^ Mmm, I think French cars aren't as bad as some of them used to be :eusa_thin
But still, the Citroën C3 and Pluriel seem to be completely built from plastic..

Was there any need to build/sell "Hummer" for everyone, it's like abusive-terror in streets with no goodies at all :t-banghea ...!

Orignially it was never sold to the public and they never planned on it either. Arnold and a whole bunch of others, who are/were fans, petitioned and ultimately convinced the company to sell. So it wasn't really the company rather people who wanted it. But I do agree, it is a pointless vehicle unless you're a drug dealer or in the military. :t-cheers:

Thanks for info mate, if I was a drug-dealer or in military & I had to roll in an American big-box (obligatory), I'll go for an Escalade, rather than a non-sense Hummer :D...!

Hummer is a much better choice for drug dealers. I'm not talking about H2 or H3, I'm talking about the all original Hummer. I would buy one of the upgraded military Humvee...that would be serious ownage on the streets. LOL Plus, not many other cars can mount a machine-gun on the roof... :D
