Very surprising it is over 3sec slower than the Radical when they have similar power and weight. Something doesnt seem right with the test vehicle. Did they do acceleration runs? The claimed time to 100 is 3.4sec.

I don't find the result particularly surprising. It's 1200kg, which is not spectacular for a car that is this stripped. The Radical is more like 1000kg and has a lot more aero. Sport Auto and Autobild both tested the car and got 3.5s to 100km/h, so the problem is not with the engine or the acceleration. It's just that the aero and the setup overall are nothing special and the cornering speeds are pretty mediocre.

You would - and should - expect more for €370k, that's for sure, though. This is more like a €100k car if anything.

It's crazy how GT-XR is the second most expensive car on this chart after Senna (going by a quick base price google). It really should be placing higher in these track tests, since KTM's whole shtick with this model is how it's just a couple alterations away from its racing version.
IMO Dallara Stradale is a much more appealing package and it clearly works better on track, given how it doesn't need 500 PS to kick ass.

One thing of note reading back the two German GT-XR tests... AutoBild and Sport Auto had the same loaner car (judging by the license plate). AutoBild seemed to like the suspension setup apart from the Trofeo R being a Porsche spec. Which itself is strange, considering the KTM has very similar weight distribution to a 911.
Maybe the fact that AutoBild liked the handling so much was due to stiffer springs being used just for this test. It's a direct consequence of Sport Auto complaining specifically about soft spring rates in their car. They said they were scrapping the front splitter during hard braking.

I didn't read the French Motorsport Magazine, but just looking at the video thumbnail, I can see it's the same car again. If they ran the stiffer springs too, the resulting lap time is all the more underwhelming.

I wish they were more consistent in the release of their data panels.

So that's about (for the E-Ray):
0-100 kph in 3,3 s
0-160 kph in 6,2 s
0-200 kph in 10,2 s

Not soooo fantastic. 😏

Based purely off that data panel?

More like 2.7/6.0/10.2 which is pretty great. Although is does slow down after 200 it seems.

Yes, but I wanted to write 3.0 seconds... 🤷🏻‍♂️😅
0-60mph without rollout is about 2.8. Add another two tenth for the 97-100 kph gap. That 3.0 s.

That is correct :). I thought it would launch a bit harder, myself. But she’s a heavy girl.
