So it wasn't a real deal, just like I thought that as well.

Eh? You post a long article explaining why the leaked photo is REAL, and then you say "so it wasn't a real deal, just like I thought"?

Make up your mind.

My views are that photo is REAL and the person saying it was a joke is probably in hot water from the source of his photograph.

And there was mentioned that people can judge is it the real, I still think it isn't real what the article said. So many different sources, which claims different things, jokes etc.

Just look at the photo and make up your own mind.
Like Betty said, I think it's real and the source got scared and/or got paid not to show the rest.

No. You posted "so, it wasn't a real deal", which implies that the article you are posting reveals categorically that it was a fake. But the article doesn't do that. In fact, it presents evidence supporting the fact that it's real, and even states that in THEIR opinion the leak is real.

Your post makes absolutely NO sense.

Betty, I actually did mean is that the real deal - ready production model, which don't change anymore. Just like some people thought (in some sites) it is the real deal - the real production model. And I did mean as well, after photo by the Instagram (which look the same with the black R8), did came other photo, which don't look so much with the photo of Instagram (have different details), and both not especially don't look a real deal - production model, because are just a spy shots. And I didn't doubt that Instagram R8 photo was fake, but is the real spy shot of course. And once again, my point by the real deal - production model, not just a spy shot, which can change a lot when it will reveal. Maybe now I did explain better what I did mean.

One thing that bothers me are the vertical bars in both the front and rear air inlets. This is contradicting Audi's horizontal design language for a wider, sportier look. They also should've kept the sideblade as it is, since it's a characteristic part.

I wonder what Audi's love for the color blue is all about lately. I think I'm going to throw up if they show the A4 in blue as well :D

2015 Audi R8 teased with laser headlights
LED headlights will be standard

Audi has released the first teaser image for its highly anticipated second generation R8.

Promising to "set new standards among high-performance sports cars", the new R8 has made its debut in a teaser campaign which will end close to the supercar's official reveal early next month at the Geneva Motor Show. The attached teaser pic only shows a small portion of the car's front end which by the looks of it seems to match the spy shot from the beginning of the month. However, the vents seem to have carbon fiber gills which weren't fitted onto the white car but that R8 probably didn't have all the production body parts.

Aside from publishing this teaser shot, Audi has announced the new R8 will come as standard with LED headlights featuring 37 LEDs per headlight. At an additional cost, customers will be able to configure the model with an optional laser high-beam headlight using high-intensity laser diodes which compared to LED high-beam headlights have an almost double lighting range.

Audi says each headlight boasts one laser module operating with four high-intensity laser diodes while a phosphor convert transforms the blue light into pure white light. The laser headlights will come with a blue light signature as a method to make them visually distinguishable from the regular LED headlights.

Other confirmed details are not available at this point but according to the latest gossip, the naturally aspirated V8 4.2-liter engine will be dropped which means that at least initially, the Audi R8 will be available only with an upgraded V10 5.2-liter engine outputting about 578 HP (425 kW). A smaller downsized (and likely turbocharged) gasoline engine is set to join the range later on while a turbodiesel engine could also be planned.

The 2015 Audi R8 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month where it will be showcased alongside a fully electric e-tron derivative which will go on sale together with the conventional-powered model. A plug-in hybrid model will probably see the light of production day in the years to come with an electric motor working together with a V6 or a four-cylinder turbo.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
