I think it's a little bit more than a slight chance. And one thing is for certain, Audi will give the UK customer AWD.
People around here should learn a thing about sarcasm

Not till the FL..
Well, X5 is no facelift either and soon to be production stop so BMW should move their lazy asses and offer it to M5...![]()
Looks like X5M do have Full LED lights? Then I suggest add it the new M5 as well...

...it would be FWD otherwise, so Audi has no option but AWD. Different story![]()
Not going to get into the whole fwd thing with you but I do know that I wouldn't fancy trying to put down 740Nm to the ground by just one axle regardless of whether it's front or rear so I hope BMW see sense and only offer the car here in it's complete form instead of a stupid rwd.
Seriously??
0-100 in 4.7 seconds and a fuel economy of 6.3 liters??? I bow down!!! Respect to the fullest!!
That fuel economy figure is irrelevant as you will not be able to get anywhere near it. I know all manufacturers are guilty of tailoring their cars to perform well in the EU cycle tests, so I'm not picking on BMW only, but seriously, not a chance is that figure realistic. I have experience of a 35d and the fuel economy was terrible, no matter how I tried to get the best figures. Can you imagine what a Tri-turbo will be like?
If you want an economical car, don't get a 550d.
^ it was more the annoyance that the rest of Europe will get the car as it was intended with AWD but we in Britain due to marketing more than anything will only get RWD. I hate getting something watered down.
Look at it another way Betty, for this kind of performance it's economy will be unnatural.
