That car really should have been for military-use only...Perfect at the Desert Storm, miserable on the streets of LA

Well more so than a bad interior, this looks more like a disaster-struck interior...Wonder what happened, looks like a paint can exploded in that Maserati
 
Always thought the American cars (GM products in particular) had the worst interiors ever, but seems the Malaysian can do no better...All hail the Proton Satria Neo and the Perodua Kelisa respectively

The Aston Martin DB7 interior...Lots of the stuff here looked good on the 1st gen Mondeo, but not on an Aston

That steering wheel airbag is preloaded with some air and padding to support the driver head in an initial soft thud!
 
As the thread got old, as far as contemporary examples go, I guess we can include ANY one of the Tesla interiors, right?

...as seen in the case of this 1957 Mercury Montclair, some elements appear oddly familiar today. One could argue..."THAT was forward thinking !".

At least the materials used look pretty good (except for those seats)
